Met Tim in Santa Cruz along with the rest of the band a few days ago. Really cool dudes and would love to chat with them again!
Suggestions were made about what would come of As I Lay Dying after being reduced to "just 2" of the core members. I'd argue this is both the sound you'd want to hope to hear from As I Lay Dying but its as far as I can remember by far the most dynamic they have ever sounded.
In regards to the traditional drum style I saw them live in Santa Cruz on the 9th and I looked over a few times to see the drummer playing that style! It's absolutely insane 🤘

This song teleported me straight back to early/late 2000’s Metalcore which is a testament to AILD/Tim. So many bands now a days change their sound. Loved it! Also you crushed it solo btw.
