I was honestly satisfied that no only Lucy killed her bullies, but she also killed the friend who told the bullies. Because that's what happens to traitors. Especially when you betray someone who has the power to blow your head off with a single punch from invisible tentacles.
My personal faverote death in Anime (sort of. Not really sure if you'd consider it one, although I do) is when that fucked up priest gets torn apart by Demons in Castlevania. The man who is basically responsable for Dracula releasing literal Hell on earth due to his arrogence and was willing to feed an innocent group who offered help and healing to the townsfolk to the Demons and pitchfork wielding mob gets torn apart by the very monsters he helped bring to this world is just so satisfying.
Marcus Reading I remember that scene, human stupidity will forever be the greatest source of comedy. Low key though, it felt GOOD seeing that bastard get what was coming to him.
You forgot the best part with #1 - Pip gave her his blood *willingly.* This was something not even Alucard/Dracula had ever accomplished, and it made her *much* more powerful in the bargain.
I still find Envy's death rather sad and, even pitiful to a certain extent, even with all the horrific things they did. I can't help but replay that death over and over, it's almost Shakesperean. It's a beautiful, yet pitiful and sad death.
I agree! In fact, I think all of the seven sins deaths in FMA:B to be tragic and a little sad (Except for Pride, I don't count his as a death but rather a rebirth to a second chance). But Envy's death scene definitely hit my feels the hardest. (edit): thinking back on the show, I changed my mind. Greed's death was the saddest by far.

One of the most satisfying deaths for me was light from death note he spent the length of the series thinking he was justice but he died the exact way most of the people he killed died
I love how Kira underestimated the Near and the kid beat him by not attacking him alone, but using Mellow's knowledge who died in battle, which in itself caused a red Herring for Both kira and the audiance. It was a really well done scene that both got revenge for his mentor, his brother, all the people Light killed, AND it was even better in the manga because despite claiming to be a god, Kira ended up screaming and crying, showing how human and pathetic he truly was. Going out with zero dignity and making Ryuk keep a promise he made at the beginning of the story. 10/10 satisfying death.
I find rolos death more tragic than satisfying. After everything he's done, despite killing Shirley, despite lelouch saying he hated his very existence, rolo still felt like the little brother and gave his life by constantly using his Geass power (which stops his heart every time he activates it) to allow his "big brother" to escape and try to make things right.

It kind of makes you wonder how can those children be that f%cked up to do that while smiling like they belong in the Killing Game of Danganronpa? Even Monokuma knew better than to kill Gundam Tanaka's Dark Devas of Destruction, and he... Well, do you have a year? To be honest, I don't even know who started the Killing Game in the first place, Monokuma or Junko Enoshima?
Wait, Naraku is dead!? I always figured this show would just keep on going forever, never getting closer to the end than when it started. At least, that what it felt like by the end of the 4th season!
Yes he is, both in the manga and anime. Watch Final Act, if you haven't already, which is Inuyasha's final season, the ending was VERY satisfying and not just with Naraku's death but also who we see paired up at the end (I won't spoil who gets with who but let's just say some fans, or at least I think so, are rather happy with one particular paired ending up together). Also it went beyond season 4, it had like 7 seasons before Final Act.
@@michaellyden2580 Well it definitely picks up in Final Act, theres even a episode that solely revolves around Kagome and its one of my favorites. Still I can understand your loss of interest since the plot is pretty much the same thing over and over, Naraku plots against the gang, it fails, they find him at where ever he's hiding, corner him but he manages to get away, he makes new incarnations to try and kill the gang but they overcome it, he makes a new plan by way of trying to use someone else and manipulate them into offering them the Sacred Jewel, that fails rinse and repeat. You have to admit that some of the episodes that don't involve all that are something of a nice breather and some are even down right hilarious, like the Monkey Sprites episode. Theres also 4 movies too, the first three are pretty good (hell we learn HOW Inuyasha's father died in the third movie and we even learn a little bit about the Tetsusaiga and Tensusaiga iirc) with second one being my favorite but the fourth one while good in its own right, is not for non-Kikyo fans since most of the time its just "Kikyo this and Kikyo that". I don't hate Kikyo but I do have a strong dislike of her considering all that she did in some of the episodes in the first few seasons.
But even in death, she STILL managed to cause despair to EVERYONE. Including children! No matter how I picture it though, there is no satisfying way for getting back at Junko. You could torture her and she laughs and creams herself due to despair. Even when you are positive and don't give into despair, she would be still satisfyed by her own dread and despair. There is no winning over this character. And it drives me nuts...
Jason's death from Tokyo Ghoul was my favorite. I enjoyed the moment very much, but when I was like "Yeah, Kaneki! Kill him! Kill Jason!", my grandma was like "Uhh... okay...".
Yes number 2 is complicated but those kids murdered a puppy and were smiling while doing it those are the signs of a serial killer so they deserved it as do all puppy murders deserve death
I‘ve always had mixed feelings about this scene because i wanted to cry for poor Lucy but also for her to KILL THEM HARDER! Okay, they were children. But they knew exactly what they were doing to her. They deserved every bit of pain they felt. Sorry, but not sorry. (I‘m no dog person but no one hurts puppies, damnit!)

"Troubled" is a stretch. Greed was troubled, he just wanted... friends (?). Gluttony was sympathetic. Pride was pitiful. Lust's death was satisfying in an ironic way. Sloth died as he lived. Wrath at least died with pride (oddly enough). Envy was downright sadistic with no mercy and no regrets of his actions. He relished in psychological torture so to see a boasting, confident nightmare of a villain beaten down, roasted (figuratively and literally) and finally mentally broken before his death was pure satisfaction.

Envy was way more interesting than lust. Lust just fails at her goal. Envy breaks down and even admit that he jealous of humans then kills himself by ripping out his stone.

Honestly the entire town which celebrated Lisa's death, all being wiped out was satisfying in its own right but...yeah. Nothing beat the death of Asshole Bishop.
Dio. A madman who tortured the Joestar's for generations and caused the death of one of the most honorable characters in anime Johnathan Joestar. Until he was finally brought down the great great grandson of his mortal enemy and one of the most badass characters in anime Jotaro Kujo, in an incredible clash of strength and intellect.
That death from Akame Ga Kill actually had the opposite effect for me. I saw a girl who had a righteous heart being twisted and corrupted by a system she was indoctrinated to believe was good. She was the picture of the horrible power of group think.
I was disappointed that the guy that was pulling all the strings was left off this list because of that girl.. Sure she was twisted.. But that guy puppeteered the prince so he could get whatever he wanted.. He even got a man sentenced to death just so he could have the mans wife! FFS put some things in perspective guys!!
Congrats, you're one of the few who got the authorial intent rather than hate Seryu because of what she represents that lies within all of us, and it's easier to hate Seryu than look inward at your own faults.

Sturellia Starlight Naraku was one of my FAVORITE deaths in anything I've seen. But my all time favorite is Elfen Lied's "you want to know who isn't human?! PEOPLE LIKE YOU!!!!!!" *blood splattered ALL OVER THE ROOM like me trying to paint in kindergarten. The first time I saw that I could not stop laughing! I still laugh at it every time I watch it.
Yes Naraku is finally seen for the ruthless monster that he is although even though his death wasn't really that bad it was so satisfying like Robin said in a sort of peaceful way kind of weird
I'd have to say my favourite death in anime is probably the colorless kings death from K project. Ignoring the fact that his death caused the death and near death of two other main characters whom I love, seeing him die was just so satisfying after he'd caused so much pain and suffering to the other characters. I loved it. But I hated what it took to kill him
As far as number 1 goes, it wasn't exactly because she failed. The way I remember it she was told to wait and instead rushed in because she wanted the glory of taking down Hellsing, only to fail and being discarded as a result. Also cute Lucy costume.
I actually felt kinda bad for Seryu. He was twisted and corrupted by her own beliefs and convictions. And it shows how a black and white morality can easily be twisted and perverted. And interesting note: Rumiko Takahashi herself said that Naraku was perhaps the most tragic character in the entire series.
How ironic, the smiling Titan was actually someone very important for Eren’s father and I truly wonder how would the world be if she had eaten Eren and got the original titan power.
As temporary as his death was, Kyubey shot full of holes was a "hell yes!" moment. And props for having Cordelia in Honorable Mentions; yes, the other vampires are jerks, but she was even worse. That DL ended with her demise slightly redeemed the series for me.
I found Kikyo's death more satisfying than Naraku's One like=one dead Kikyo Edit: I may have worded it wrong... When I said satisfying I meant it had feeling behind it unlike the death of Naraku. We all knew since the beginning of the series that the big bad was gonna die by the end of it so it was unsurprising and predictable. Kikyo was in a way the same, it was obvious that Inuyasha and Kagome were going to be a thing in the end so Kikyo was a temporary obstacle. However, Kikiyo's death was far more interesting and made her feel like an actual person instead of a writer's tool to get Inuyasha and Kagome to develop their relationship. Whether they were feelings of sadness or enjoyment that she died depends on the person but, it made you at least feel something regardless. That's why, in my opinion, Kikiyo's death was more satisfying and much better executed then Naraku's.
Uhhh, I'm an Inukag, but I found her death sad. I actually cried. Imagine you as Kikyo or Inuyasha. You two are lovers that were separated by force and trickery. It would hurt right? Your first love picked another girl, but he also still loves you. That means you have a chance to get back, so of course there would be rivalry. But don't you remember Kikyo protected Kohaku? Without her powers after her death, Kohaku would be dead by now after Naraku stole his shard. Also, If you wished Kikyo never existed in the Inuyasha series, then we don't have a Kagome in it. Since Kagome is Kikyo's reincarnation, if Kikyo didn't exist, neither would Kagome. If Kikyo didn't exist, no Kagome. No Kagome? Inuyasha would have never been released from the Tree of Ages. No Inuyasha? No series. Without Kikyo and Inuyasha's beginning relationship, there wouldn't be an Inuyasha fandom or anime without her. She was one of the characters that started the anime. So I feel thankful for her existing.

I just don't understand why people hate Kikyo so much what did she do that was so bad? sure she was a little standoffish and could be a little mean at times but keep in mind what she had to go through not just with the Inuyasha thing but the responsibilities that were forced onto her remember she wanted out of the Priestess life and Inuyasha was going to give that to her she let her guard down with him and an outside force took advantage of that and now she blames inuyasha my only problem with Kikyo is after finding out that it wasn't Inuyasha she still hated him which bothered me but not enough for me to hate her also it's weird people don't find Kagome more annoying she's loud she's obnoxious she's bratty and entitled and she's constantly hurting people and acting like she's worse off than everyone around her are we forgetting about songo? her people are dead and the only Soul Survivor is her little brother and it's been hell trying to get him back.

Apparently, the voice actors for Envy had to make him sound extra desperate and pathetic because the scene by itself wasn't enough to make anyone feel what the author intended. (The intended feeling was concern for Mustang being so driven by revenge)

It was especially great when he was consumed by the Greater Grail in F/SN: UBW. I was then both disappointed they didn't choose Shinji, but understood their choice.
While I agree that Zorin's death was incredibly satisfying, there were so damn many satisfying deaths from Hellsing Ultimate. The way the Major died after being shot with a German 88, the way Maxwell died being betrayed by Anderson. Even the way Anderson died after an incredible fight with Alucard. Hard to pick really.

Cell from DBZ; I was getting so tired of him that seeing him finally vaporized in such an epic manner was so satisfying, I’ll never tire of it. Also, as someone who raised dogs since they were newborns, I feel no compasion at those little bastards in #2. Hell, even before I had a dog, I’d look foward to seeing horrible things happen to someone who’d torture and kill an innocent puppy like that.

Correction she used to be his first wife until she became the smiling titan, a creature without feeling that ate people for fun. It doesn't change the way I feel about its death.
It doesn't actually matter. You either pity ALL of the mindless titans or none of them. Just because she happened to be Grisha's first wife doesn't mean anything. At this point in time, she and every other titan (aside from the NINE) are just mindless beasts that act upon their instinct to eat and kill humans.
I'm more than a little disappointed that the scene of Maria killing her own abusive mother Rosa from Umineko didn't make this list. Rosa didn't just get killed once, she was killed 100 times before Maria was willing to forgive Rosa for murdering her friends (I.E. destroying the very same toys she had gifted to her child as an apology for the abuse.) As a person that withstood decades of abuse at the hands of my birth parents, I regularly go back and watch that scene over and over. I'd also argue that Envy's death wasn't satisfying; the beat-down before his suicide was. His death itself was tragic and sparked at least some tiny embers of sympathy, his actions up to that point and reactions to Roy's onslaught did nothing of the sort. I'd rate Lust's death above Envy's, or Wrath's even from Brotherhood...actually. Even Sloth's was more satisfying because it had Muscle Bros 4 Lyfe and Badass Women final battle.

It is really just stupid. One of the people doesn't even pull the string themselves. Unless I'm mistaken all of the contractors were immature teenagers or children who sought permanent solutions for temporary problems which also doomed them to hell after their own deaths. Hell girl is a joke all it is is a story of children committing murder (conspiracy to commit murder) while knowing that they will go to the exact same place the people they murdered go.
Am I the only person who's VERY disappointed they didn't included the Gun-toting Ant from "Hunter x Hunter" on the Honorable mention list? Even if he was just an irrelevant minor character in the manga and anime, the little bastard had one of the most satisfying deaths from being crushed by Bonolenov's Battle Cantabile: Jupiter which was a satisfying end for this bug after he killed Ponzu. #JusticeforPonzu
First he has a bullet in his head turn into a beetle that eats his brain after a long fight and pleading to be spared, then he has to take what I assume are Mike Tyson strength punches at rapid speed for what might be for a full minute with each punch feeling like 20 seconds of pain, and then is sent flying into a garbage truck that explodes.
Let's see... Steely Dan's 2 and a half page beatdown translated into about 20 seconds in the anime. 20 divided by 2.5 is 8. That means, if adapted based on these numbers, the Chiocolatta beatdown will last... 56 seconds! That's almost a full minute of muda, with a wry thrown in for good measure!
Now Cathy from angels of death was satisfying but I think danny from the same series was way more satisfying. He would would not die man and his death was so satisfying
I’d say that one of my personal favorite deaths is the grand fisher from bleach. Just because Ichigo and his dad forgive themselves for her death after they “both” kill him
Honestly, I'd say most of the villains from Utawarerumono count, but if I had to pick just one, then I'd say Hauenkua. It's just satisfying seeing him finally get what he deserves, especially after all the joy he got from making others suffer. A close second would be Niwe, for the irony of him being destroyed by flying too close to the flames he longed to see.
You guys got a bunch of things wrong about Zamasu -You neglected to mention that Goku Black is actually Zamasu himself from an alternate timeline. -You got the order of kills mixed up. Beerus kills present day Zamasu before Goku and the gang go back to the future to fight fused Zamasu (Zamasu and Goku Black fused together). -While Future Trunks technically killed Goku Black with his Spirit Sword, Zamasu still survived (having previously gained immortality), and proceeded to eradicate all life in the planet, save Goku and the gang. He was only defeated when Future Zeno eradicated him him from existence.
Details and important distinctions being missed is nothing new for Anime America. Though, unlike some of the other times it's happened, it doesn't detract much from their point here.
yep, Zamasu essentially died 3 times: present day Zamasu by Beerus via Hakai, his physical body by Future Trunks in the future and his mentality/influence by Future Zeno via getting erased from existence like his present self was in the alternate timeline
One death from anime I find satisfying is Hunter J from Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. She really knew how to get under my skin in the few episodes she was in.
You know, one death scene I found REALLY satisfying for multiple reasons, from Shinsekai Yori... . . . . . Squealer. There were several parts of me that was satisfied with his death. Since he killed so many innocent people, I was happy that he got what was coming to him, but at the same time, I was relieved that Saki was able to put him out of his misery after he was put into a state of neverending torture. I know the whole reason why he did what he did was to overthrow the authoritarian human society, but at the same time, he knew there were good humans like Saki and her friends, so him going through with what he did was downright despicable. At the same time though, his death provided something important for Saki though. Squealer provided a reason for Saki to become a leader who can bring change to human society. When a character’s death can be satisfying for three different reasons, you know it was well executed.
UUUUUMMM TRUNKS did not kill Zamasu he took out his physical body but in a incorporal STATE he still had the Power to destroy the universe and if it wasn't for Zeno wiping out the universe Zamasu would still have won
It could be said that vicious dying was spikes last ghost before he could die from his past. Burying the hatchet in battle there wasn't anything left. I like when heroes live on to peace but Spike dying was something beautiful. He tied up his loose ends and could lay to rest in a world he didnt belong in anymore.
I know I am a little late, but I just needed to say that Envy was one of my favorite characters and Envy's death was very sad/made me sad. I don't understand how someone can hate Envy... Just like they said Envy was jealous to humans, and I know some of the things Envy did were pretty cruel and everything. But (I think) they were needed for the plot, and Envy was and still is funny and likable character, and I am sure that I am not the only one who thinks so. Just wanted to get that out there, no hate. :D

I was honestly satisfied that no only Lucy killed her bullies, but she also killed the friend who told the bullies. Because that's what happens to traitors. Especially when you betray someone who has the power to blow your head off with a single punch from invisible tentacles.
My personal faverote death in Anime (sort of. Not really sure if you'd consider it one, although I do) is when that fucked up priest gets torn apart by Demons in Castlevania. The man who is basically responsable for Dracula releasing literal Hell on earth due to his arrogence and was willing to feed an innocent group who offered help and healing to the townsfolk to the Demons and pitchfork wielding mob gets torn apart by the very monsters he helped bring to this world is just so satisfying.
Marcus Reading I remember that scene, human stupidity will forever be the greatest source of comedy. Low key though, it felt GOOD seeing that bastard get what was coming to him.
The best was when the demons said Thank you just before killing him.
even better is when hes brought back as a creature of the night to serve the machinations of a truely evil vampire.

I still find Envy's death rather sad and, even pitiful to a certain extent, even with all the horrific things they did. I can't help but replay that death over and over, it's almost Shakesperean. It's a beautiful, yet pitiful and sad death.
I agree! In fact, I think all of the seven sins deaths in FMA:B to be tragic and a little sad (Except for Pride, I don't count his as a death but rather a rebirth to a second chance). But Envy's death scene definitely hit my feels the hardest.

I love how Kira underestimated the Near and the kid beat him by not attacking him alone, but using Mellow's knowledge who died in battle, which in itself caused a red Herring for Both kira and the audiance.
It was a really well done scene that both got revenge for his mentor, his brother, all the people Light killed, AND it was even better in the manga because despite claiming to be a god, Kira ended up screaming and crying, showing how human and pathetic he truly was. Going out with zero dignity and making Ryuk keep a promise he made at the beginning of the story.
10/10 satisfying death.

After everything he's done, despite killing Shirley, despite lelouch saying he hated his very existence, rolo still felt like the little brother and gave his life by constantly using his Geass power (which stops his heart every time he activates it) to allow his "big brother" to escape and try to make things right.

Wait, Naraku is dead!? I always figured this show would just keep on going forever, never getting closer to the end than when it started.

Yes he is, both in the manga and anime. Watch Final Act, if you haven't already, which is Inuyasha's final season, the ending was VERY satisfying and not just with Naraku's death but also who we see paired up at the end (I won't spoil who gets with who but let's just say some fans, or at least I think so, are rather happy with one particular paired ending up together). Also it went beyond season 4, it had like 7 seasons before Final Act.
Mason Klaus Season 4 was when I stopped watching Inuyasha, after it became abundantly clear that they weren't going anywhere with this story.

Still I can understand your loss of interest since the plot is pretty much the same thing over and over, Naraku plots against the gang, it fails, they find him at where ever he's hiding, corner him but he manages to get away, he makes new incarnations to try and kill the gang but they overcome it, he makes a new plan by way of trying to use someone else and manipulate them into offering them the Sacred Jewel, that fails rinse and repeat.
You have to admit that some of the episodes that don't involve all that are something of a nice breather and some are even down right hilarious, like the Monkey Sprites episode.
Theres also 4 movies too, the first three are pretty good (hell we learn HOW Inuyasha's father died in the third movie and we even learn a little bit about the Tetsusaiga and Tensusaiga iirc) with second one being my favorite but the fourth one while good in its own right, is not for non-Kikyo fans since most of the time its just "Kikyo this and Kikyo that". I don't hate Kikyo but I do have a strong dislike of her considering all that she did in some of the episodes in the first few seasons.
Final Act is final. It is the end of the series if you stopped by the Seven Bandit story.

Speak for yourself. I was thrilled. After all of the pain and despair she caused, I was beyond myself to see her go.
But even in death, she STILL managed to cause despair to EVERYONE. Including children! No matter how I picture it though, there is no satisfying way for getting back at Junko. You could torture her and she laughs and creams herself due to despair. Even when you are positive and don't give into despair, she would be still satisfyed by her own dread and despair. There is no winning over this character. And it drives me nuts...
I was so sad when she died cuz Junko is my fav.
That's why the most satisfying part is when the future foundation destroys her plans, and everyone from the second game is alive and well.

Jason's death from Tokyo Ghoul was my favorite. I enjoyed the moment very much, but when I was like "Yeah, Kaneki! Kill him! Kill Jason!", my grandma was like "Uhh... okay...".
Yes number 2 is complicated but those kids murdered a puppy and were smiling while doing it those are the signs of a serial killer so they deserved it as do all puppy murders deserve death

"Troubled" is a stretch. Greed was troubled, he just wanted... friends (?). Gluttony was sympathetic. Pride was pitiful. Lust's death was satisfying in an ironic way. Sloth died as he lived. Wrath at least died with pride (oddly enough). Envy was downright sadistic with no mercy and no regrets of his actions. He relished in psychological torture so to see a boasting, confident nightmare of a villain beaten down, roasted (figuratively and literally) and finally mentally broken before his death was pure satisfaction.

Dio. A madman who tortured the Joestar's for generations and caused the death of one of the most honorable characters in anime Johnathan Joestar. Until he was finally brought down the great great grandson of his mortal enemy and one of the most badass characters in anime Jotaro Kujo, in an incredible clash of strength and intellect.
That death from Akame Ga Kill actually had the opposite effect for me. I saw a girl who had a righteous heart being twisted and corrupted by a system she was indoctrinated to believe was good. She was the picture of the horrible power of group think.

As far as number 1 goes, it wasn't exactly because she failed. The way I remember it she was told to wait and instead rushed in because she wanted the glory of taking down Hellsing, only to fail and being discarded as a result. Also cute Lucy costume.
I actually felt kinda bad for Seryu. He was twisted and corrupted by her own beliefs and convictions. And it shows how a black and white morality can easily be twisted and perverted. And interesting note: Rumiko Takahashi herself said that Naraku was perhaps the most tragic character in the entire series.
The AGK creator said that was meant to be the point of Seryu: twisted, but tragically so.
How ironic, the smiling Titan was actually someone very important for Eren’s father and I truly wonder how would the world be if she had eaten Eren and got the original titan power.

Edit: I may have worded it wrong... When I said satisfying I meant it had feeling behind it unlike the death of Naraku. We all knew since the beginning of the series that the big bad was gonna die by the end of it so it was unsurprising and predictable. Kikyo was in a way the same, it was obvious that Inuyasha and Kagome were going to be a thing in the end so Kikyo was a temporary obstacle. However, Kikiyo's death was far more interesting and made her feel like an actual person instead of a writer's tool to get Inuyasha and Kagome to develop their relationship. Whether they were feelings of sadness or enjoyment that she died depends on the person but, it made you at least feel something regardless. That's why, in my opinion, Kikiyo's death was more satisfying and much better executed then Naraku's.
Uhhh, I'm an Inukag, but I found her death sad. I actually cried. Imagine you as Kikyo or Inuyasha. You two are lovers that were separated by force and trickery. It would hurt right? Your first love picked another girl, but he also still loves you. That means you have a chance to get back, so of course there would be rivalry. But don't you remember Kikyo protected Kohaku? Without her powers after her death, Kohaku would be dead by now after Naraku stole his shard. Also, If you wished Kikyo never existed in the Inuyasha series, then we don't have a Kagome in it. Since Kagome is Kikyo's reincarnation, if Kikyo didn't exist, neither would Kagome. If Kikyo didn't exist, no Kagome. No Kagome? Inuyasha would have never been released from the Tree of Ages. No Inuyasha? No series.
Without Kikyo and Inuyasha's beginning relationship, there wouldn't be an Inuyasha fandom or anime without her. She was one of the characters that started the anime. So I feel thankful for her existing.

So did many others. Apparently, the voice actors for Envy had to make him sound extra desperate and pathetic because the scene by itself wasn't enough to make anyone feel what the author intended. (The intended feeling was concern for Mustang being so driven by revenge)

I immediately thought of Shinji Matou, who's sheer presence makes people annoyed at him. It was especially great when he was consumed by the Greater Grail in F/SN: UBW.
I was then both disappointed they didn't choose Shinji, but understood their choice.
While I agree that Zorin's death was incredibly satisfying, there were so damn many satisfying deaths from Hellsing Ultimate. The way the Major died after being shot with a German 88, the way Maxwell died being betrayed by Anderson. Even the way Anderson died after an incredible fight with Alucard. Hard to pick really.

Ainz was mostly angry about how his plan for the four of them was ruined by some arrogant scrub that thought she was something special. I think that he had also grown fond of them and didn't like the fact that the girl was tortured before death. Otherwise, that's all I got.
Cell from DBZ; I was getting so tired of him that seeing him finally vaporized in such an epic manner was so satisfying, I’ll never tire of it.
Also, as someone who raised dogs since they were newborns, I feel no compasion at those little bastards in #2. Hell, even before I had a dog, I’d look foward to seeing horrible things happen to someone who’d torture and kill an innocent puppy like that.

I'm more than a little disappointed that the scene of Maria killing her own abusive mother Rosa from Umineko didn't make this list. Rosa didn't just get killed once, she was killed 100 times before Maria was willing to forgive Rosa for murdering her friends (I.E. destroying the very same toys she had gifted to her child as an apology for the abuse.) As a person that withstood decades of abuse at the hands of my birth parents, I regularly go back and watch that scene over and over.
I'd also argue that Envy's death wasn't satisfying; the beat-down before his suicide was. His death itself was tragic and sparked at least some tiny embers of sympathy, his actions up to that point and reactions to Roy's onslaught did nothing of the sort. I'd rate Lust's death above Envy's, or Wrath's even from Brotherhood...actually. Even Sloth's was more satisfying because it had Muscle Bros 4 Lyfe and Badass Women final battle.

First he has a bullet in his head turn into a beetle that eats his brain after a long fight and pleading to be spared, then he has to take what I assume are Mike Tyson strength punches at rapid speed for what might be for a full minute with each punch feeling like 20 seconds of pain, and then is sent flying into a garbage truck that explodes.
I know he got a 7 page beating. Steely dan only had a 2 and a half page beating.
Let's see... Steely Dan's 2 and a half page beatdown translated into about 20 seconds in the anime. 20 divided by 2.5 is 8. That means, if adapted based on these numbers, the Chiocolatta beatdown will last... 56 seconds! That's almost a full minute of muda, with a wry thrown in for good measure!
Naraku's death made me smile in satisfaction, though I did felt a bit of pity when he said " I only wished for Kikyo's heart"
Now Cathy from angels of death was satisfying but I think danny from the same series was way more satisfying. He would would not die man and his death was so satisfying

Honestly, I'd say most of the villains from Utawarerumono count, but if I had to pick just one, then I'd say Hauenkua. It's just satisfying seeing him finally get what he deserves, especially after all the joy he got from making others suffer. A close second would be Niwe, for the irony of him being destroyed by flying too close to the flames he longed to see.

You guys got a bunch of things wrong about Zamasu
-You neglected to mention that Goku Black is actually Zamasu himself from an alternate timeline.
-You got the order of kills mixed up. Beerus kills present day Zamasu before Goku and the gang go back to the future to fight fused Zamasu (Zamasu and Goku Black fused together).
-While Future Trunks technically killed Goku Black with his Spirit Sword, Zamasu still survived (having previously gained immortality), and proceeded to eradicate all life in the planet, save Goku and the gang. He was only defeated when Future Zeno eradicated him him from existence.
Details and important distinctions being missed is nothing new for Anime America.
Though, unlike some of the other times it's happened, it doesn't detract much from their point here.
yep, Zamasu essentially died 3 times: present day Zamasu by Beerus via Hakai, his physical body by Future Trunks in the future and his mentality/influence by Future Zeno via getting erased from existence like his present self was in the alternate timeline

Squealer. There were several parts of me that was satisfied with his death. Since he killed so many innocent people, I was happy that he got what was coming to him, but at the same time, I was relieved that Saki was able to put him out of his misery after he was put into a state of neverending torture. I know the whole reason why he did what he did was to overthrow the authoritarian human society, but at the same time, he knew there were good humans like Saki and her friends, so him going through with what he did was downright despicable. At the same time though, his death provided something important for Saki though. Squealer provided a reason for Saki to become a leader who can bring change to human society. When a character’s death can be satisfying for three different reasons, you know it was well executed.
UUUUUMMM TRUNKS did not kill Zamasu he took out his physical body but in a incorporal STATE he still had the Power to destroy the universe and if it wasn't for Zeno wiping out the universe Zamasu would still have won

It could be said that vicious dying was spikes last ghost before he could die from his past. Burying the hatchet in battle there wasn't anything left. I like when heroes live on to peace but Spike dying was something beautiful. He tied up his loose ends and could lay to rest in a world he didnt belong in anymore.
I know I am a little late, but I just needed to say that Envy was one of my favorite characters and Envy's death was very sad/made me sad. I don't understand how someone can hate Envy... Just like they said Envy was jealous to humans, and I know some of the things Envy did were pretty cruel and everything. But (I think) they were needed for the plot, and Envy was and still is funny and likable character, and I am sure that I am not the only one who thinks so. Just wanted to get that out there, no hate. :D
I especially loved Envy from the og anime (even though the show deviated quite drastically from the manga....to put it lightly) ♥♥♥
