YESSSS this was SPECTACULAR! So many amazing trails and vistas you found, and just beautifully filmed as well! Such a pleasure to watch. I feel like I could go spend a week exploring that area and not see everything. Nice work Shawn!
softroadingthewest thanks dude! It’s such an awesome area! This whole area around summer lake was new to me so it was fun to explore. I was so busy with work I didn’t have a good chance to map out the area. Looking back afterwards there were some cool areas I missed out on.
Can you make a vid of the mods you’ve done to the CR-V?
@Xzavier Curtis tried it but it only says i got 8 inch D and i got hot mommas around my area. teehee
Love Fort Rock! Outstanding spot to catch the sunrise. Adventure on👍🚙
Thanks for sharing. I think I'am going to look a little harder at the crv and trade my cruze in. Love how yours looks. My wife and son would love those kind of road trips. Take care. 👍
Great video as always! Thanks!
Great video, love the scenery all round just brilliant and you have a Honda which just tops it off 👌
Excellent video as always. Some great trails and view points over there!
Matt Nasholn thank you! You’ll have to explore it sometime, it’s a great area to camp. It felt really weird staying in a hotel out there, I love camping in the desert.
Magnifico amigo, me has dejado sorpredido... slds
I really enjoy your videos! Keep em coming!
Dave verhaeghe Thank you! I’ve got more on the way!
CRV 1 Страхотен автомобил и много проходим и аз имам такъв . Браво страхотен клип
Great video
That was a great video, thanks!
Brad Melvin Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed it!
Nice video!!!
Awesome video. I used to lived in sisters Oregon I move back to Utah
very well documented
Awesome video! Do you have a video describing what mods you’ve done to the CRV? Wheels, tires, roof rack etc.
Badass. I just replaced all my front suspension except my struts and shocks. Once I replace those and do the timing belt service im thinking of building my crv lime those for fun trails for next summer. Love your videos man keep them up!!
Hi Shawn, went through so CRV footage on YT and came across your channel. Immediately subscribed👊. Excellent content and hope there's more upcoming adventures.
NICE TRAIL AND NICE CR-V I TRY THAT WITH MY OFF ROAD OVERLAND HONDA FIT JAZZ WHEN I WENT TO OREGON
very cood 👍
Love how you put the videos together. Very well done. I need to make a trip over the pass I love the area as well.
CZ_Mate Thanks man! It’s such an amazing area to explore.
這風景真的太美了!一代CRV真是一部很棒的車...
Great video! Nice looking rig. I have a 99 that I off road on a regular basis. Just finished wiring the winch yesterday. They're pretty amazing little vehicles, aren't they? Hands down one of my two favorite vehicles I've ever owned. Cheers!
Your videos are great man. I see you haven't posted in over a year, did you stop the channel? Go on, there are not many of us to create off road content around the CRV ! Thanks for this nice video, the voice over is a very good idea 👍
Excellent
Cool vid
Awesome, i dont own a crv (although a few years ago i had a chance of buying a first gen awd model) anyways i own a 4x4 but i also own an awd rav4 with a proper lift and AT tires and i know how capable a little awd crossover can be. I love to see awd vehicles doing things a lot of the purist think it only doable with a 4x4 platform. Ive taken my rav4 thru a lot of trails in baja all the way to La Paz and back so i know the value of a awd for light to moderate off roading plus you get great handling on road and even better mpg's.
👌👌👌

Silver_rd1 Any local or historical tidbits, like species of local flora and fauna, dates of ruins or forest fires, or the names of historical or current local persons or attractions adds color to the narration. It doesn't have to be super-detailed, and any local legends and tall tales are interesting too.The part when you show the BBQ & giant portions of food is a good example of what I mean. I certainly don't mind gear or mod talk either, but bits of local information adds another dimension to the presentation.
I love your videos man! Just a quick questions, are you AWD?
What’s suspension do U have on this crv?damn awesome cuz I’m putting an element together to have some fun
Hey man. Can you give us more information on what lift you're using 🧐 lol
What lift or strut spacers do u have and wheel setup?
Have a second gen crv with the 2.2 Diesel even standard it’s brilliant except for the way the car acts in snow. How long have you had your crv ?
Hello just wondering what is your wheel settup and size? Do you have a lift kit on your crv? Nice build!
🔥🔥👍
De_Cooliest Thanks dude!
Wow. Those are the best rims I ever saw on the CRV. What are they
can you tell me what size of tyre ...that you fit it....and are you lifted your car...TQ
Great footage! I have a rd1 also and cant wait to the same one day. Btw do you use spacers on the rota wheels ? Or are they +20 on the offset
HOUSTON Thomas Thank you! They are +20
Are those te37 wheels? They look great!
Hi there from NZ I am looking at the Gen1 and Gen2-2.5 CRV what was the deciding factor for a gen1?? Love to know your thoughts. Great vid.
Need to make a way to Ontario Oregon , I have crv myself , just a quick quest what parts for extra do you take or ?
Hello I live in Oregon as well and am meeting up with someone to get a lifted 1997 CRV. How do these things do up in the snowy mountain roads?
We need a video about the crv
Hi what tipe of tires use un the CR-V un off road.
Regards from Costa Rica.
could i know what kind of rim and size it is ? and roof rack and bumper bar?? thx in advance
I live in Oregon and just started a crv build. Is yours auto or manual?
What year is the CR-V?
How do I find the brackets for the led light pods for the Crv??!! It would be really helpful !!!
Pradd Ditt The mounts are made by aerogenics and the attach to the hood hinges. Here’s the link: aerogenicsusa.com/collections/1997-2001-honda-cr-v/products/ditch-light-mounts-for-1997-01-honda-cr-v
What size rims and tires and lift is on that ?
What kind of wheels are those?
Does that have a lift
What's the name of your favorite place to eat in the state called at the end?
That’s the cowboy dinner tree near Silver Lake , OR.
@@silver_rd1545in the video it showed Chinese food.
It sounded like ya said champs or something....but it was the fav in all of oregon
One Man My apologies I forgot I added that in there as well. That’s Chan’s Chinese restaurant in Bend! They have a great selection and huge portions for the low price.
Is this CRV lifted?
Yes! 1” front and 2” rear on 215/75/15 yokohama geolander AT tires
@@silver_rd1545 I have a second gen CRV and I'm thinking about lifting. What parts do I need for 1" or 1.5" lift. How do u rate those tires? perfect fit by the way
The geolanders are amazing for the price! Id recommend them unless you plan on getting some bfg ko2s. Both aerogenics and HRG makes 2nd gen spacers. You shouldn’t need to change much more than just adding those for such a minimal lift. 2” or more is when people start needing adjustable camber arms and frame spacers
25inchs on tires
