Not all good tools need to be expensive. Tools are a tough market because we have been told that tools are expensive and if they not they aren’t any good. Without doubt there is a lot of garbage out there but there are some good inexpensive tools too. Good video Joe.👍🇨🇦

My complaint about these is it only tests the hot wire, not the nuetral.
I have tested circuits the hot is OK from source to load but the circuit
still not happening. So I have to break out the old MM to test the nuetral
to find the fault.

In telecommunications, there are toners that allow you to trace a cable back even to the patch panel. I know that electricians must have a similar tool for working on circuit breaker panels. I wish I had one now, I have a bad switch in my guest bathroom I need to figure which circuit breaker I'm on. I don't my trial and error, but I hate having to reset clocks.

when the circuit has plugs, i plug in a radio and turn the volume up.
