- The pinnacle of DUNE RTS games. Emperor is the culmination of the story set in motion in Dune-2/Dune2000.
The canon ending in Dune 2000, is the House Ordos campaign ending, where the Lady Elara has assassinated the Emperor Frederick IV Corrino, with the gom'jabbar.
The developers put a lot of effort in cutscenes with paid actors, a trademark of Westwood RTS games. Gives so much more immersion than others. Some more familiar faces will pass the stage!
Now a new war for Arrakis has begun, in which one of the great houses can truly become the ruler of the known universe. As long as the spice flows. - Hry

Hi guys. Sorry the videos have been inconsistent as of late. IRL responsibilities have me busy. My job needs a 2hr commute (one way) and daily workouts claim my time too. Weekends have been busy, will try to get the Ordos campaign in more consistently. But first we do both invasions with the Atreides!
The Guild: This conflict will be limited to the Arrakis only.
Atreides after they took Ordos capital on Arrakis: Hey, let's assault their homeworld.
The Guild: I said, limited to Arrakis only!
Atreides: Sorry, can't hear you over all those explosions!
The Guild: Also, the use of atomics is forbidden.
Harkonnen: LMAO.
The Guild: And this is exactly why we are going to make that God-Emperor Worm with Tleilaxu, and try to take over the Known Universe.
Ordos: Hey, that's literally against all possible Dune canon!
The Guild: So are you, so shut up.
Rules who need them? :P and plotholes....or were they devious plots?

That would be amazing, and add all the things the developers wanted to do with it too. Maybe a sequel would be even better.
@@Kroepoek82 it's one of my all time favourite RTS but my issue with is that the storyline is supposed to happen after the events of dune however some of the characters are not in continuity - the Duke of atreides is different to that mentioned in dune 2000 as well as the atreides mentat. Same with ordos. Not too sure about harkonen. Nonetheless the acting was superb as should be in true Westwood studios fashion.
Too bad you dont get anything special for taking over all the other territories
Ye...That might have been a nice incentive to do it. Would make for a really different ending too.
@@Kroepoek82 Yeah, maybe have the opportunity to invade the other houses home world too
Maybe making the final mission somewhat different if you managed to capture all Arrakis territories.
