About Motherland:

Lyne Renée said (to paraphrase her) she was nervous about the role. She NAILED that role. I swear she was so convincing, she literally looked like she could be a General of the Witches.
Love the attentive, loving silence everyone extends to each other when they're speaking. You can tell this cast loves each other and this series A LOT, which is not surprising, with how good it is to us viewers.

i came for scylla and raelle but i stayed for the plot like i'm so hooked with the show it's amazing! the cast is amazing phenomenal acting on their part! can't wait for season 2

You have no idea how much I missed this cast. 45 minutes it's not long enough. I was laughing most of the time because of these people shenanigans, reactions and comments on one another and I cried at the end when Taylor talked about representation. 90% of the time I was mesmerized by Amalia (Goddess I love that kid) and it broke my heart at the beginning when she talked about her fear of being hated by the fans (poor baby, how could we hate on someone as good, funny and smart as her :( ? WE LOVE YOU AMALIA!!!.
I was angry that "the fans sent 100s of questions" and yet, they only asked 3 which were kind of boring (sorry) and completely ignored the BIG ones (like "where are the bloopers" "when we will get merchandise") Like I get it you don't want to spoil anything from season 2, but there were some great questions about season 1.
I was also surprised to see that they kept a good balance of how much they talked (being afraid that Amalia was going to be the one talking less than the rest) but it wasn't like that and I'm really glad.
Overall I've got the feeling that was more of a 1-1 interview with Eliot while having the girls give their point of view.
And I'm extremely excited for season 2, I mean, we knew the Army and the Spree would join forces to defeat the Camarilla but the way Eliot described it, it's gonna be REALLY good and interesting; same as getting to know more about the Spree and MOTHER TONGUE!!! what I'm not really interested about is the whole "more male witches". I like the male witches we have know and would rather have sweet baby Byron back and explore his friendship with Raelle than having a random boy around.
In conclusion: I LOVE TAYLOR, AMALIA, JESSICA, ASHLEY, DEMETRIA, LYNE SO MUCH! and I'm so thankful for Eliot for giving us this amazing show and the amazing characters portrayed by the most amazing and talented cast.
I thought Motherland: Fort Salem was going to be just another Vamp'Diaries or teen drama, but it is so much more. Its nice to see the cast and crew understand the responsibility that is part of having an audience.

I just finished this show 1 hour ago. I really hooked, I didn't know what to think of Scylla in the beginning. Over the of episodes Scylla became an of my character favorite I do not regret 😍. I love his relationship with Raelle it's a kind "of forbidden love" that's what makes the relationship as beautiful is perfect. I also like the friendship between Raelle Tally and Abigail 3 girls different who see themselves as sisters
at the end. Anacostia is great I love it 🤗 thank you for the panel, I appreciated excited to see you again for the season 2🧡🧡

I love this show so much and I was so scared that it wouldn't get renewed. I often see shows that are special not be understood and get cancelled. I hope there wil be many more seasons to come and we get to know the history of this world more in-debt. And someone write books too! I want books to tide me over!

I just discovered this series a week ago and I am so obsessed! Wish another network will pick this up. Imagine if the series will continue and explore more the situation in caribbean witch prison. Assuming the witch prison could be made up with new breed of witches and function! And mostly I'd like to see more of Scyl and Raell.

So happy to have watched this earlier today. Everyone was loving and truly appreciate of the fan base. I’m excited to see witch bigotry and the Camarilla explores more along with Raelle discovering her mother is alive. Taylor made a major point about how Hollywood still has a long ways ago in making better representation for people of all racial, sexual and cultural backgrounds. Best panel of Comic Con in my personal opinion.🖤
The cast is the best. Taylor even has the "white fragility" book behind her. They care about diversity and inclusion both on and off screen which is so nice.
The only bad thing about this panel was how short it was! Give us an hour, come on!
Seriously though, great panel. Lovely cast, they're so invested into their characters and every other character, it's so fun to see. And Damn Eliot Laurence is one brilliant writer! This guy has all the answers in his head. He created this universe and went as far back as pre-history to create the language!!
