I hope one day people will understand that YG has his own unique signature and they strive to preserve it. They have no intention of copy his own groups they want to mantain his distinct style. YG once said: we want that when someone listen our songs they think "oh its so YG" they want to preserved their brand through generations. Ain't no way YG would do the same cute sweet girl concept these kpop GG groups are doing a lot these days im thankful for that, we need some noise in kpop
And also this why YG concerts are always the best coz their songs are sooooo good when you listen to them live... Yes some people like other genre but for me when attending concert you will never get this type of energy on other company songs... and they let their artist sang with live bands

Baemon isn’t being pushed down anyone’s throats, this is literally how a debut should go: strong concept and talented performers. Yeah BP didn’t renew individually, so? How is that in any way related to BM? The pinks are at a stage in their careers where they can and should make decisions that will benefit them as individuals. They’re still a group under YG that hasn’t changed. The comparisons are inevitable, people expected the pinks to disband completely and for history to repeat itself like it did w 2ne1/BP except it didn’t. The BP girls made the decision they made probably due to what they know and what we also know (individual contracts trap you and it doesn’t go well for the artist). They’re being supportive seniors to BM and the BM girls are always talking about advice given to them by the pinks. Things are going well, surprisingly.

The thing that I always proud of YG is they really stands for their own signature, they always keep their own colour, no matter what the trend is. Even when they following the trends, YG always use it with their own style, so when people see it they're gonna like "aahh.. this is so YG". All the group in YG is YG signature, no wonder if everyone keep saying their group look similar each other, cz they was made by the same hands but with different sauce.
I think the pedal to the metal is a direct reference to Treasure's Jikjin (i mean pedal to the metal os a pretty common phrase) since Hyunsuk is involved in the production of this song.
