I moved to Dallas in 1976 and have lived here ever since. I Absolutely love my City and have watched it grow tremendously over the last 45 years. Proud to call Dallas my home.

I was born and raised in Big D, it’s the coolest most beautiful city anywhere I would never want to live anywhere else, and this video is spectacular.

I do give credit where credits do..Austin does have good architecture..but I think Dallas still takes the lead for that here in Texas.
With that being said.. Austin does have alot of Detail in their architecture..alot of points and Angles

I was in love with Dallas , the moment my feet touched its surface. Six years later my love for this city is still strong and no other place I would rather be. Probably, the best city on the planet in my point of view.

My daughter with Down's Syndrome is Not Welcomed here in the Christian Churches, She's pretty much hated by everyone here in Washington State.

Unfortunately that isent economical, tall skyscrapers are usually a result of scarse and expensive land. Dfws land is to cheap to justify building something that tall
@@jzoedua80 False: There is no height limit on the plot Ross Perot Jr. (Hillwood) bought. He's waiting on investors. Also there's less height limit on the Southside of downtown. We could eventually see a super tall (1,000ft+) further south.

Thanks for sharing! We have lived in dfw for almost a decade. When you driving around, you don’t realize how pretty it actually is. I just wish there was more of a trash pick up....some areas are becoming so trashy, it’s sad.

Awesome footage! Dallas is one of my 5 favorite cities based off its physical appearence. I've visited that city in 2018 for 2 days. It was a decent experience, but the downside to that trip there was that I didn't know anyone there to meet up with.
my favorite view: go southbound on Central, take the exit to I35 (Woodall Rodgers). Come around that turn and all of downtown and uptown hit you smack in the face. At night it's amazing!
Runners up: (1.) exit from I30 westbound onto northbound Central. (2.) view of downtown from Sylvan bridge over Trinity (3.) view of downtown from parking lot of Bath House Cultural Center out at White Lake.
sifridbassoon Yes, I know the view you are referring to. We lived in an apartment above Luna’s Tortillas on McKinney running along Woodall Rogers
back in the early 50’s and it was spectacular then as it still is now! I remember all the lights and sounds especially the planes flying over from Love Field and are forever etched in my mind.
... ... ...coming north on 75 in downtown, then taking the woodall rogers ramp westeword... ... ...uptown is more breath taking than downtown... ... ...and i think it is the exit above the united states postal center, on the rise of the hill, where you loop around on i·20, the towers go on for "eternity", ...spanning too the "event horrizon", northward too addison... ... ...
these "VIEWS" are "beyound belief", ... ... ...if only our... "houston too dallas downtown view" had a 2,000 foot "david fisher", SUPERTALL! in the southern section of downtown dallas!, then people would believe!

I grew up in Lewisville, just north of Dallas. I remember going to downtown Dallas for the first time. I was 5 and was absolutely awestruck by it all. I ended up working downtown for years. They have done such a good on beautifying it.
