I know I've played Bloody Mary but don't have a clear memory of it. However, I do remember putting my brother's stuffed Digimon in the bathroom, standing outside the door and saying "Candyman" 5 times, and then running out of my house like a maniac lol. I've never really looked up where the story of Candy Man came from, but do any of you know if the movie idea came from Bloody Mary or if the inspiration is inspired by something completely different?
Edit: I just found out the origin of the movie. I knew the backstory in the movie but didn't know if there was any inspiration from other legends, such as Bloody Mary. I know the video wasn't about Candyman, but I didn't know if it was something that would've come up in research since it also involves mirrors and you guys mention other stories, such as the movie Mirrors lol.
