I'm guessing you're talking about wave warp. Apply it to the clip you want to distort, then increase the wave width until it looks natural. I would also decrease amplitude and speed. You might also be talking about turbulent displacement. Experiment with both of these effects and see if you get the outcome you desire. 👍
