My lawn is definitely struggling this year. I’m -partly- mostly to blame.
That's how lawn care is sometimes good sometimes bad it's never perfect forever but that's what makes it fun.

I always tell people that a stick edger is to your yard what a straight razor trim is at the barber shop. Sharpens the edges for a clean look, and just feels really good.
I love my EGO trimmer... I really need to get those rotary-scissors.

We've been using the same Ego equipment commercially for over two years with almost zero issues. I had many more issues with our old commercial gas equipment.

It's almost the end of lawn season, but I received the rotary scissors a few days ago. I am still waiting for the Ego multi head trimmer&edger +5ah battery combo. cant wait to use the scissors. thank you for your videos on these products!
I switched from the echo pas 225 lineup to the ego products after watching your videos. I couldn’t be any happier. Gets the job done, low maintenance, very little noise compared to gas... more power (than a 21.2cc at least)

I love the rotary scissors. Places I can’t get to, especially if I’ve got the grass catcher on, matched height dead flat. Plus i don’t have to worry up against vehicles or wood posts
I have to agree on all accounts. I will say the rotary scissors attached with a five amp hour battery seems much heavier than most similar setups. It's not bad just something I've noticed.

Really like the Ego stuff. Just can't see pulling the trigger on the $320 rotary scissors. They jacked the price up on it a month or so when the lawn community started hyping it. Look forward to your future videos.
Stihl and Redmax make reciprocating heads that trim close but don't spin, they reciprocate like a hedger.
One of those might be cheaper for you.

Havent pick up the edger header yet for my ego power head.... im having a hard time letting go of my stihl fc56 edger, it does such a great job:(
Nothing wrong with the Stihl edgers. As far as stick edgers go, I actually prefer the curved shaft like that FC56 has. I like the offset. 👍🏼
I agree, I keep my edges maintained so I don’t need the power of the straight shaft, I’m willing to sacrifice power for the ergonomics of the curved shaft

I like ego except in the heat in Texas the battery keeps going stopping because its too hot and needs to cool down. Its getting worse over time. I think I am going to go back to gas as much as I don't want to. I always recommend it to everyone, even for multi acre yards like mine, but after my two years in I am afraid I can't recommend it anymore.
Fair enough. I’ve switched back to gas for our new 3.5 acre yard.
Does adapting the rotary scissors void the warranty?

I have (2) 5 Ah and (1) 2.5 Ah battery. That could be enough - we’ll find out!

Curious could you use the ego pole extension for the conversion instead of the string trimmer? Would save $60 if you could and I want this set up.

can we convert any ego string trimmer or does it have to be the multi tool trimmer.
It has to be a multi tool or rear motor model. The ones with the electric motor on the trimmer head don’t have a driveshaft.

I don't think it is. It has to be a model with the "rear motor" designation. The other ones don't have a drive shaft to adapt to.
How do you keep weeds out of the flower beds? Pre-M? Are there any post-M that are safe for a multitude of flowers and ornamentals but kill weeds?

Can i attach the power rotary scissor on the ego string trimmer but not the power head version with multiple accessorries?
Guillaume Mercier you can if it is a “rear motor” model, but not the ones where the electric motor is on the trimmer head itself - because there is no driveshaft to attach the PRS head to.

Yes, it’s a 2014 4Runner. We like it.

No, the carbon shaft model does not have a driveshaft to attach to. On that model the electric motor is on the head itself.
