I really like this kind of video Fleur. I prefer the focus on your favourites only as I find it to be more useful. For example, if you were to say a foundation is great for dry skin then it tells me that it might be a good one for me to try. On the other hand, if you say a foundation isn't good for dry skin then I know it probably won't be worth spending money on but I still won't be any the wiser about what foundation to actually try. Basically, I think favourites focused videos are a lot more informative when you are looking for recommendations. I don't know if any of that makes sense but I thought it'd let you know anyway!
Honestly, Fleur could focus on about anything and I'd investigate ALL her faves and recommendations. I am already purchasing products out of my comfort zone, aka more expensive products, but higher quality. Thanks guys! Love the videos Fleur. Hope to get to one of your meet-ups some day! I'm a Chicagoan ... and you've hit some great spots in town. In fact, you've made recommendations to me (whereas I have lived here for a l o n g time)! Good job!
Fleur DeForce I love retro matte high heels and velvet teddy. I also really love their studio fix foundation like I only need a little bit to make my skin glow and look clear
I will never understand why people watch Fleur when all they want to do is bitch about cruelty free makeup in the comments. There are plenty of cruelty free beauty people on CZcams. Watch their videos instead.
electrictwilight actually it really annoys me when people bitch about cruelty free. Too faced is supposedly cruelty free but its owned by Estee lauder who are not. your money goes to too faced and estee lauder. add in the fact that some of these massive companies come out with similar formulas to the cruelty free brands that they own. so perhaps it's possible that the none cruelty free formula was created first but not released until the cruelty free one did. That means a similar formula would have been tested on animals and brands like too faced can release theirs without that specific formula have been tested on animals. Every ingredient individually has been tested on animals at some point in history and anything new will be tested on animals while companies like estee lauder and loreal continue testing on animals. Add in that people dont really think about humans in this either. Mica used in eyeshadows etc is carcinogenic if inhaled now if it was being make in the EU or the US we would have much more stringent health and safety criteria than china. But as most are made in china with different regulations to the EU or US we dont know if the product is being handled safely. also in we dont know what it took to get mica in the first place. cruelty free is great but its near impossible to find truely cruelty free.
electrictwilight it is so annoying, I agree! I know plenty of people who give me shit for using Mac & then I see them use Estée Lauder or Chanel - which are not cruelty-free whatsoever.
MandyYDG same! I feel like CZcams opened my eyes to so many new brands, but recently I've been gravitating back to some of my favourite mac products. It's like going home! 🤣 who else is talking about mac lately? x
Laura Costigan I don't know of if you've heard of RachhLoves (I adore her) but just yesterday she posted a $100 at MAC video. Tati and DramaticMAC have also mentioned them within the past few weeks, I believe as well. I've just been seeing them around a lot more. Bad for my wallet but so good for my collection.
MandyYDG Thanks! I've not heard of RachhLoves or DramaticMAC so I'll check them out. Perfect timing, in at home ill and already caught up on my subscriptions. 💸💸💸
I love this idea! Its useful if you include worst products or least favorites of each brand 😊 we don't have to love everything, and its more realistic that way I think!
Nothing from MAC is worth animal suffering. It's 2017 - why are makeup companies still testing on animals? More importantly, why are CZcamsrs who claim to be animal lovers still shilling their wares??
Avni Patel Because it's an important issue which is largely ignored by influencers because the vast majority of cosmetics companies do still test on animals. CZcamsrs and bloggers are reliant on these companies for sponsorship or being sent free gifts that they can use as content for their channel, so they won't say a word against them. Additionally, talking about the horrible reality of animal testing doesn't fit with the clean cut, perfect life image that beauty vloggers like to portray. An animal shouldn't have to suffer for us to wear lipstick.
I started watching videos about 5 years ago and it was all about Mac. Mac's collections would be the biggest thing ever and you know what the best part of that era was? The genuine love for makeup. CZcamsrs now have been capitalized and brands are using them to shove products down people's throats. It's all about the money now, not the makeup.
I love you fleur, but I find it hypocritical that you are an animal lover but still buy from MAC. There are plenty of brands out there that are cruelty free, so why MAC? I know these comments come up a lot, but it's true. This is putting it very straightforward, but you are essentially putting money above all else as you have the lipstick coming out. There definitely are brands that are cruelty free that would love to work with you. Like please, don't be such a hypocrite
Lala xxx I totally agree. Especially when she has pets herself, she must know how horrible it is to see an animal in any discomfort, and yet she's openly promoting a brand that condone hurting animals.
You don't know that she's received these things for free. I doubt it because brands usually only gift new launches, and she spoke about a lot of classics here. She's also made a lot of MAC videos in her early channel days.
if you watch one of her canada vlogs from a few weeks ago (i think it was canada) she gets literally an ENTIRE SUITCASE of products from mac. so yes, i do know that she received them for free. it was a disgusting amount of makeup.
Lala xxx I would be really interested to know how many of the people making animal cruelty comments don't eat meat, wear leather or even use completely cruelty free make up themselves!!
MAC products are still my favorite because they remind me of the early and the best days of CZcams before it got too manufactured and over-produced. I liked when it was girls in their bedrooms recording on their Macbooks about the products they actually loved to wear.
If you were a true animal lover you wouldn't go near this brand! Please consider other cruelty free brands there's plenty out there. Fleur you have the power to help change and make awareness that animal testing is wrong😔
Fleur DeForce love this 'best of' but like others I think the worse/or things you wouldn't recommend in a brand would be good. I'm interested in how Bobbi brown compares - heard lots about her eye concealersz also would love to hear the best of Nars and Charlotte Tilbury and hourglass. Love your videos x
People always get on your case when make-up isn't 100% cruelty free. I often wonder if they live like that themselves. Before you put someone down about animal welfare, make sure you're completely plant-based, never wear leather or suede, adopt instead of shop, never go to a zoo or circus, etc. Oh, and most importantly, never take medication because if there's one field that's a lot worse than make-up when it comes to animal testing, it's pharmacy
See, now that's the point I don't get. When a human life is on the line, suddenly it's okay for animals to take the back seat. Because in the end our lives still matter more, right? What about taking a pain killer for a headache or hangover? Or a spray for a sore throat? Those are in no way necessary to survive but I bet you 99% of keyboard warriors use those just as easily. My point is, don't criticise others if, when push comes to shove, you (and I mean that in a general way) are just as hypocritical and self-centered as everyone else
On that we agree :-) I also think that everyone should decide for himself what he's willing to do and what is attainable. And educating people on other ways of life is a good thing! It's just all the attacking when someone lives differently than you do that I don't agree with, hence my first post. In my opinion, people should try to better themselves first, instead of bullying others into living the life they decided is best
No, it doesn't. They choose to test on animals because the latter can"t complain about the possible complications. Which is why scientists only start with human testing once the product is deemed "safe". That ties in to my earlier comment saying human lives are seen as more valuable than animals'. The only reason animals "need" to be used for anything, is because humans feel so stupidly superior and self-rightous
Does it matter if it's sponsored or not? Great to see a career can be built doing this so being sponsored is a positive thing as long as a true opinion is aired.
Agree, although the video is not sponsored, she recently did a - of course - well-paid collaboration with this brand and is showing us a lot of products she got because of this collaboration as a gift. So I'm not expecting she is unbiased. You don't bite the hand that feeds you.
Sanne WorkInProgrezz yep it's important that people are informed consumers and know who their money is going to. Sadly most people don't bother to understand.
Ah yes, the Upward Lash Mascara. I had the same reaction as you did where I was like 'ummmm, what is this brush?' and I FREAKIN' loved it!! The packaging is hilarious.
Ania Comerford Same, I think it's mostly because they don't test on the products we use here, but the ones sold in China are. as far as collaborating with them, I wouldn't before they are cruelty free.
Lotte G. Yes, they only test in China, where it is required by law. However, they do still pay to have their product tested on animals, the same products that are sold in the UK, USA, worldwide. Let's use an analogy; if someone were to murder someone in China, would they be known as a murderer in the U.K., or would the crime be disregarded because it didn't happen here?
i would not call her an animal lover, i think she views piglet as an accessory more than anything. if she loved her animals so much why don't we see her as often with her cats and other dogs? not to mention always letting them run away off-leash. she still eats meat and buys leather, so why would she care about animal testing? people would rather turn a blind eye than acknowledge the cruelty of the industry tbh.
so you missed the multiple vlogs of her letting her dogs run away? it's irresponsible, no way would i walk my dog off leash again if they ran away once, let alone a good handful of times.
I would love an hourglass one, because i see so many youtubers talking about how good some of their products are but not in a way that allows me to see what they do best, if that makes any sense? I dont know ahaha x
I would love for Mike to see Fleur's lipstick collection, as she always tells us he's a lot more frugal with his money, so he would just be confused as to why she has so many similar colours. But I as a viewer loved your collection and reviews. Your so honest and describe everything so eloquently. Your collection is timeless and eclectic. Love the video idea. And yes we all were obsessed with MAC once upon a time, like the were the only make up brand out there lol can't wait to see your personal MAC lipstick. Xx
Discovered Whirl couple months ago, and I'm in love with it. The perfect color for my light/olive completion. I can put it on with a full face of makeup, or even when running to the store and I feel it's appropriate for both occasions. It's definitely becoming a holy grail !
I also feel like MAC is a bit forgotten because of all the new brands, but for me MAC always rocks, it is a great brand with some great products. They are the bomb in make up!
Brave, Syrup and fanfare I was waiting for those. i got them because back in the day you recomended them and I still love them!! Athor all time favorite prep and prime pressed powder can't life without it. I can't wait to buy your lipstick. And yes I defenitly want to see more of these with high end brands like dior, chanel guerlain etc
Congratulations on collaboration with Mac! This is literally a dream come true! Looking at all the lipsticks you just showed, I think I already know what your colour is going to look like: Creme Sheen formula, beige-rosy nude with maybe a gold sheen to it 😄
I agree Mac was the brand of youtube back in the day. I love Mac lipsticks. When I think of Mac lipsticks and you, I dont know why I always think of 'girl about town'. Maybe you liked it back in the day or maybe I am just crazy! Still remember the videos you used to film in your bathroom (think it was MUA) and down by your bed. I miss old youtube sometimes. Looking forward to your lipstick coming out in April. X
Love these 'one brand' kind of videos personally! Hits and misses format I think where it fits would be good. Nars I feel like is the second tier of CZcams throwback makeup brands. Loved this vid!
I do love these type of videos. I can't believe I've been watching you over 7 years now. And you are still one of my very favorites that I watch your every video :)
I like the idea of including stuff you don't love.... Its fair and feels honest and really pushes out any idea of bias if you're talking about the good and the bad. If there's nothing that you've tried and didn't like then that's cool, but if there's something that's being hyped and you're not into it, I wanna hear about it. My two cents (or pence even!). PS: Modesty is my absolute favorite Mac lipstick ever. On me it acts like the perfect nude. Definitely leans pinky but it just matches my lip tone so well. Also, I have several cremesheens and for some reason I feel like it's just the best texture of all of them (even if they're supposed to be the same)!
Loved this video! Sometimes it can be tough to follow multi-brand videos, but with this one it just seemed really organized and gave you glimpse into the line. Maybe it's because I'm more familiar with MAC, but I was able to easily retain more of the info. 👍🏼💋💗
Fleur DeForce thanks for replying...and asking! 💗 For what it is worth, lately I'm growing more curious about Charlotte Tilbury, Giorgio Armani and/or Christian Louboutin...especially the Velvet Matte Lip Color, is it really worth spending a small fortune? 💄 I mean, you could feed a family of three and their cat for the same amount! 😁😊♥️
I think this type of videos are pretty useful! Really enjoy watching and also give us an idea what we should buy or not from the brand! Thanks Fleur ❤❤❤
Aw I feel like I need to do a huge MAC haul now. Literally sat here and took notes for next time I'm in store. My favourites by MAC are chatterbox, syrup and ruby woo in lipsticks, and Dollymix in their blushes (although you have to go in with a really light hand with this). Love the brand spotlight videos Fleur xx
I actually really like the MAC single shadows, lately I've been coming to the realization that I'm not that incredibly creative with my eye looks, and most of the large palettes I own sit there, unused for the most part (with the exception of my Naked Basics palettes, which are total everyday staples to me!)... So I've been trying more single shadows, from different brands. I love UD and Sephora single shadows, but I find the MAC ones blend sooo so well! I'm in love with my latest MAC purchase, the "No me queda mas" shadow from the Selena collection. It looks like a basic brown shade, but it has this slightly redder tone to it, which makes it a GREAT transition color for your crease, or even a great all over shade that will bring out blue eyes like BAM! ;)
yes please I really love hearing about best and worst on a specific brand. I want to know what to avoid or to get a tester of first and what to seek out.
Another fabulous video, dear Fleur. Pretty much every lipstick MAC makes is perfection to me. From Ruby Woo to Lady Danger to Classic Red to Lip Blossom to Kushi Kiss to Naked Bud (yes, I have a bit of an obsession lol). I love them all and am looking forward to checking out your favorites, too. Thanks for this terrific video. Cheers! - xx, Carla (2 Real Chicks) P.S. Congratulations on your own MAC lipstick! OMG that's fantastic! Will definitely be picking that one up once released!
Any chance you could write a disclaimer or clarify if the links you put in the description box are affiliate links and if you make a commission or not? They go through rstyle (and to Selfridges, not Mac themselves) so I assume they are. Transparency is important. Thanks.
I love these kind of videos. .please keep making them..and yes. .include the worst products also if you can. it will be a helpful guide. love ya Fleur!!
I think people get confused with all the terminology Sponsored Affiliate Brand Ambassador Working with Collaboration PR gift Paid for Ad Etc I guess people think if you're given stuff it's sponsored- as in you're being being paid to say nice things. I think it's only sponsored if you're paid a flat rate to make a video about a brand or product or to include it. I don't mind either way, you have the right to earn money - this is a job and I don't think anyone really understands how much effort you guys all put in !! If you could clarify what it all means it might help viewers be aware. Keep up the great work! I've been watching since you were filming on your computer sitting on the floor many years ago! xxxxxx
This is a fantastic video Fleur! I personally love the idea of hearing about your favourites from one specific brand. And I have to say, thinking back to your new years video where you said about wanting to focus more on what you love, this really came across well. The longer videos and genuine passion for the content you talk about really shows and that's why you are my #1 beauty blogger! Not afraid to say what you really think and truly loving all things beauty. What a star x
I LOVE the "1 Brand Favorites" concept! Great video which gets me excited about MAC products again. For me, the lipsticks are my favorite. Loved your choices!!! 💄💋💜
Would love to see more like this with other brands. Also what about one going back to a product type, say mascaras, that a brand didn't do well making but now is making brilliantly.
I love the velvet teddy lipstick you can never go wrong with it!! I love there highlighters! This video has made me want to buy a few more of there products🤗
I really enjoyed this throwback to the early days of CZcams. I'd like to see a best and worst mascara and eyeliner video because I'm on the hunt for them currently.
I loved this Fleur, please do more like this on other high end brands as I for sure value your opinion when it comes to purchasing make-up! I cannot wait to get my hands on your MAC lipstick too! So excited for you!! Xx
I would love to see this kind of video on Chanel, Charlotte Tilbury and also some of your favourite drugstore brands like Rimmel and Collection would be so useful! Xx
i love one brand videos! i think its fun to see similar price ranges on one video. i would find a one brand video on bobbi brown or estee lauder really interesting
I wish you would look into cruelty free brands Fleur, there are lots: Anastasia Beverly Hills, Ardell, Bare Minerals, Barry M, Becca, By Terry, Buxom, Butter London, Cargo, Chantecaille, Charlotte Tilbury, Colourpop, Cover FX, Dermalogica, Dose of Colours, Eve Lom, Eyeko, ELF, Hourglass, Illamasqua, IT cosmetics, Japonseque, Jordana, Josie Maran, Kat Von D, Kate Somerville, Kevin Murphy, Koh Gen Do, Korres, Liz Earle, Lush, Makeup Geek, Marc Jacobs, Mario Badescu, Melt, Milani, Nars, Natasha Denona, NYX, OCC, Ofra, Ole Henrikson, Oribe, Pai, Paula's Choice, Physicians Formula, Pixi, Ren, Rodial, Sonia Kashuk, Sunday Riley, Tarte, The Balm, Too Faced, Urban Decay, Wet n Wild, Yes To, Zoeva and more! You can see that from that list you use a lot of these brands already, so there is no need to fund animal testing by buying from companies such as MAC, Estée Lauder, Rimmel, Revlon, Maybelline etc.
Eilidh Ronald whilst these brands are cruelty free some of them are own by parent companies who do test on animals, For example, too faced is cruelty free but they are owned by Estée Lauder who aren't, urban decay is but they are owned by l'oreal who aren't. So whilst the ingredients aren't tested on animals the money you give when you buy their products ultimately goes to the parent company and indirectly funds animals testing.
HollyCirca87 I understand the issue of parent companies, and I tend to buy from brands with cruelty free parent companies where I can. I was just trying to show Fleur that it is easy to make the switch to products that haven't been tested. Adding info about parent companies would cause confusion to someone starting out cruelty free. And you are not funding animal testing by buying a product that has not been tested on animals. It's the same as a vegan buying vegan food in a supermarket that sells meat, they buy the vegan food, the supermarket replaces it by restocking the vegan food, it doesn't fund killing animals. Supply and demand.
Eilidh Ronald don't get me wrong I'm not trying to be rude but I think people who go cruelty free should have all the information. If I buy a blush for example from too faced ultimately the profits will go to Estée Lauder, a company which allows their products tested on animals if needed to by law (to sell in China) and profit from it so yes you are giving money to a company who will use animals and profit from their suffering, even if they arent doing it themselves they are allowing others to do it for them.Look at what happened with too faced, a lot of their customers really angry when they sold to Estée Lauder which shows alot of people see it that way too.
I'm sorry but i strongly disagree. ED speaks the truth that it doesn't matter whether the cruelty free brand is owned by an animal testing parent company, what matters is that those companies will only be making money off the cruelty free brands they sell and the animal testing brands they own will suffer losses if customers refuse to purchase the brands that test on animals to buy the cruelty free ones. To remain in business it is necessary that companies meet with customers demands, and if customers stop buying animal testing products and brands, companies will have no choice but to meet with demands for cruelty free makeup hence the gradual stopping of testing on animals and using animal products in makeup, and increased focus on selling cruelty free makeup, but people aren't understanding this perspective.
fleur please yes girl. do these! :) about every brand. i would love to also see bests of ysl. dior and chanel. want those but dont want to waste so much money on something what turns out to be bad. please thumbs up this so Fleur sees it! :)
Fleur, I realize this video is not sponsored, but I think what some people are questioning is that you are not disclosing the fact that you make commission from any items purchased using your links. You are using a third party to earn money off any products purchased using the links you provide. The law is the same in the US or the UK. You MUST disclose in your information bar that you earn commission off the links. You're supposed to disclose that for each and every link. You need to leave a disclaimer at the bottom saying that you earn commission from ALL links. A good example of this is in NikkieTutorials info bar. Go look and see that she has changed her info and now has the proper disclaimer after tons of debate and complaints. I love you and I don't care, but I know there are many boogers that do get all into that. So, to avoid it, just put in your disclaimer. I think it's a big eye roll, but some feel you're not genuine if you don't disclose. Hugs from the US! K
Love your Mac Collection is my favourite high end makeup and very affordable too. My favourite lipstick is Velvet Teddy, Midi Mauve, Creme in your Coffee and the new one Doe. Springsheen also a beautiful blush.
Recently I have a hard time with Mac as a brand, I have products from them which I love and use everyday and that's what makes it so complicated for me. They sell such good products and for many you just can't find accurate dupes from other brands, but in the past months I prefered buying stuff from brands like Urban Decay or Kat von D more, because I think that they deserve my money more (for not testing on animals and trying to find vegan alternatives for some ingredients)... also most Mac salesgirls are just unfriendly and arrogant, not a good feeling when shopping at a counter and being stared at like "oh god, what is she wearing? Can she even afford our products, like seriously just go away...."
Wow, I'm so excited for you about your collaboration with Mac, Fleur! Thats amazing! 😍 Do you know if your lipstick will also be available in other countries other than the UK?

Fleur DeForce Faux lipstick with Soar lipliner is my go to lip look.
I wold really like to see the least favourites as well from MAC... ;)
Fleur DeForce I love retro matte high heels and velvet teddy. I also really love their studio fix foundation like I only need a little bit to make my skin glow and look clear
Love the video, can you do worsts next time too
Fleur DeForce M.A.C Plumful. I wore it on my wedding day 😊

Yes! It's like the angry vegan brigade on food videos (I would suspect there is some crossover, actually).

Louise Lowe why can't someone make a video about mac without a comment like this

Eilidh Ronald they know Mac tests on animals, there's no need to keep on commenting. You're just wasting your time
MissMollie they may know, but people reading the comments may not, spreading awareness is important
they test only in China because it's required by law there
I absolutely LOVED it when you did these back in the day! So glad you want to bring them back! xx, Marie
+Marie Sophie Yay! Glad you like this series Marie! Thanks for watching! Xo
I would enjoy a lush or the body shop brand video :D

Fleur DeForce love this 'best of' but like others I think the worse/or things you wouldn't recommend in a brand would be good. I'm interested in how Bobbi brown compares - heard lots about her eye concealersz also would love to hear the best of Nars and Charlotte Tilbury and hourglass. Love your videos x
Do more of a these videos! Best of Tarte, Urban Decay, Benefit, Lorac, Too Faced, etc. Also drugstore brands!
Rebekah White definitely would love to see benefit, tarte, too faced,
People always get on your case when make-up isn't 100% cruelty free.
Aever88 Agree!
The difference is that makeup doesn't NEED to be tested on animals anymore, there are many synthetic alternatives. But medication does.
Loved this! Would like to see the same for Charlotte Tilbury or any similar high end brands :)
I've been falling back in love big time with MAC lately! This was the best timing ever! 🙌🏻💕
+FoodishBeauty Yay me too! Xo
Does it matter if it's sponsored or not? Great to see a career can be built doing this so being sponsored is a positive thing as long as a true opinion is aired.
if you can't understand why it matters you're clearly too dense...
How does animal lover like you gets past animal testing issue?
Ania Comerford Same, I think it's mostly because they don't test on the products we use here, but the ones sold in China are. as far as collaborating with them, I wouldn't before they are cruelty free.
Lotte G. They don't test on the products here but the ingredients might be tested at the countries they're coming from.
Perfect timing, it's my birthday tomorrow and my present is going to the MAC store and picking out some new makeup x
Gillian Arnold What a fun present.
+Gillian Arnold Yay! Happy Birthday, have fun shopping! Xo
Fleur DeForce thank you 💕
So excited for this video I love all of Fleur's videos!!!!!!
great Fleur, I love mac but I hate the cruelty that do xoxox
I've never felt the need to buy a Mac product and I hate the fact that brands test on animals. its wrong
makeup guru you still use mac products though!
I would love an hourglass one, because i see so many youtubers talking about how good some of their products are but not in a way that allows me to see what they do best, if that makes any sense? I dont know ahaha x
Totally makes sense! Fab idea! xo
Yeah that makes sense. Their website also looks pretty great but I would love to see a detailed review on their products.
Xx
I laughed so hard at 15:12 when the writing appeared because it sounded so blunt and i could imagine you saying.
Looking at all the lipsticks you just showed, I think I already know what your colour is going to look like: Creme Sheen formula, beige-rosy nude with maybe a gold sheen to it 😄
Hey Fleur, great video. I can't wait until your lippie comes out either. It's great, you must be so excited.I am so pleased for you.
Love love love "rambling" videos like this. You're delightful.
A Too faced Brand Video would be amazing❤️
I agree Mac was the brand of youtube back in the day. I love Mac lipsticks. When I think of Mac lipsticks and you, I dont know why I always think of 'girl about town'. Maybe you liked it back in the day or maybe I am just crazy!
Still remember the videos you used to film in your bathroom (think it was MUA) and down by your bed. I miss old youtube sometimes. Looking forward to your lipstick coming out in April. X
whoa! M.A.C old school. I just purchased a lip sick and concealer from them for my wedding day in March. The products are just reliable. Love them.
+little8p They are so good! Congrats on your wedding, have a fab day! Xo
+gghc Really glad you enjoyed it! Which brand shall i do next? Xo
Velvet teddy is my baby! I only have one blush from mac but I love it! And of course lightscapade :)
Some LOVELY colour lipsticks
I actually really like the MAC single shadows, lately I've been coming to the realization that I'm not that incredibly creative with my eye looks, and most of the large palettes I own sit there, unused for the most part (with the exception of my Naked Basics palettes, which are total everyday staples to me!)... So I've been trying more single shadows, from different brands. I love UD and Sephora single shadows, but I find the MAC ones blend sooo so well! I'm in love with my latest MAC purchase, the "No me queda mas" shadow from the Selena collection. It looks like a basic brown shade, but it has this slightly redder tone to it, which makes it a GREAT transition color for your crease, or even a great all over shade that will bring out blue eyes like BAM! ;)
Also, I legit wanna own all the lipsticks you showed today...! Amazing picks! xxx
yes please I really love hearing about best and worst on a specific brand. I want to know what to avoid or to get a tester of first and what to seek out.
Hahahaha, when she said "dead brown", she has never sounded more posh british... I love it!
I think Fleur is such a lovely person and beauty vlogger :) one of the best out there. She so deserves more subscribers xxx
Any chance you could write a disclaimer or clarify if the links you put in the description box are affiliate links and if you make a commission or not? They go through rstyle (and to Selfridges, not Mac themselves) so I assume they are. Transparency is important. Thanks.
I love Mineralize Blush, too. It's so pigmented!!
I love these kind of videos. .please keep making them..and yes. .include the worst products also if you can. it will be a helpful guide. love ya Fleur!!
My favourite lipsticks are faux and viva glam II 😍
Yes I love old school CZcams videos like these, I actually watch your old ones more!
Studio Fix powder + foundation!Simply the best❤❤❤❤
Oh yes.. the MAC days.. gosh.. I feel old now 😂 Thanks Fleur 🙈
Love this ! I definitely need to try some more pieces! I'm forever re buying Velvet Teddy and Honey Love! x
So glad to finally see someone give Modesty some love! It's my favourite lipstick ever & I've never seen anyone talk about it before 😄❤️
+Beth Its such a beautiful colour! Thanks for watching! Xo
Love this video concept and like when you include worst products as well. Could you do topshop, lottie London and soap and glory?☺️
I think people get confused with all the terminology
Sponsored
Affiliate
Brand Ambassador
Working with
Collaboration
PR gift
Paid for Ad
Etc
I guess people think if you're given stuff it's sponsored- as in you're being being paid to say nice things.
+Lorna Whitney Thanks Lorna, this was such a lovely comment to read :) xo
This video is so satisfying because i feel such nostalgia for the mac youtube days!
I LOVE the "1 Brand Favorites" concept! Great video which gets me excited about MAC products again. For me, the lipsticks are my favorite. Loved your choices!!! 💄💋💜
+Mary Kay Wallace Thanks Mary! Glad you enjoyed it.. I'm with you on the lipsticks! Xo
Love the video :) my favourite MAC lipstick is snob. My list of must have MAC makeup is growing! x
Would love to see more like this with other brands. Also what about one going back to a product type, say mascaras, that a brand didn't do well making but now is making brilliantly.
+earthkat Great suggestion Kat thanks! And thanks so much for watching! Co
I really like this type of video Fleur! Very helpful. Would like to see a 'Worst Of...' too I think.
I need to film an updated one of these!! LOVE xxx
Whirl is my favourite. On my south asian medium/tan skin it is neither a natural shade on me or bold but it rather gives me that sultry 90's vibe.
I love these videos. So glad you went a bit old school and did a mac one 💛
I don't understand why people gripe about ad videos. Like this is your job. You go girl. Love your videos regardless.
I would love more of these types of videos. They are also really helpful to know what products to buy
Loved the video, the blue on your shirt is such a stunning colour on you 😁😍
I've always wanted a Mac lipstick, but when I went into a Mac store I didn't want to buy any haha xx
gg beauty I'm the exact same on CZcams there's so many I love but then in the store nothing jumps out at me!
I love the velvet teddy lipstick you can never go wrong with it!! I love there highlighters! This video has made me want to buy a few more of there products🤗
Yes, please! Hourglass, all of them actually. would be interesting to see.
Remembering the days when Fleur loved 'show orchid' from mac, feel like bright blue toned pick was so CZcams back in the day!
I really enjoyed this throwback to the early days of CZcams. I'd like to see a best and worst mascara and eyeliner video because I'm on the hunt for them currently.
I would love to see more videos like this. Best and worst or like highly recommended products from specific brands would be super helpful!!!!!!
Urban Decay & Too Faced would be great! Love this type of video x
Yes, more of these please! It'd be super helpful when shopping 😊
I loved this Fleur, please do more like this on other high end brands as I for sure value your opinion when it comes to purchasing make-up! I cannot wait to get my hands on your MAC lipstick too! So excited for you!! Xx
Thanks Laura! What brands would you like to see? xo
Would love to see more like this and worst/not worth the money even would be super helpful
Your makeup looks gorgeous in this-Syrup looks beautiful on you.
So excited for your lipstick release Fluer!!!!
xx - Meg
I love these types of videos from you, Fleur!
Warm Soul is my FAV!!!
That black powder kohl eyeliner in feline would be amazing for use on the upper lash line as well as the lower o create a smokey look.
The partially out of focus close-up shots are hard to watch
Erin Marie I agree! You can't even see the swatches at all!
Erin Marie exactly, and in alle haar video
I kind of lol'd at the thumbnail hahaha. 5 lipsticks that look virtually the same
I wish you would look into cruelty free brands Fleur, there are lots: Anastasia Beverly Hills, Ardell, Bare Minerals, Barry M, Becca, By Terry, Buxom, Butter London, Cargo, Chantecaille, Charlotte Tilbury, Colourpop, Cover FX, Dermalogica, Dose of Colours, Eve Lom, Eyeko, ELF, Hourglass, Illamasqua, IT cosmetics, Japonseque, Jordana, Josie Maran, Kat Von D, Kate Somerville, Kevin Murphy, Koh Gen Do, Korres, Liz Earle, Lush, Makeup Geek, Marc Jacobs, Mario Badescu, Melt, Milani, Nars, Natasha Denona, NYX, OCC, Ofra, Ole Henrikson, Oribe, Pai, Paula's Choice, Physicians Formula, Pixi, Ren, Rodial, Sonia Kashuk, Sunday Riley, Tarte, The Balm, Too Faced, Urban Decay, Wet n Wild, Yes To, Zoeva and more!
Love the Paint Pot in Painterly 💗
fleur please yes girl. do these! :) about every brand. i would love to also see bests of ysl. dior and chanel. want those but dont want to waste so much money on something what turns out to be bad. please thumbs up this so Fleur sees it! :)
Thanks.. glad you enjoyed it! xo
The Ruby Woo part was hilarious :):) Fleur you're the best haha:)
+Anne Blush hahaha 🙈 Thanks for watching! Xo
I like this as an idea for a series. In depth on various brands.
