I love this product review, it definitely made me want this CDU for my home sim. But with great setup, comes great expenses. I hope to see the price drop so I can get one for myself but as for now, I'll just envy those that are already enjoying it. Peace, Love and God Bless you mate
I fly the Zibo 737 and got this as well. Worked perfectly out of the box. I now can have graphics set to scenery only and hit shift+9 for the small number of cockpit items I don’t have hardware for.

What I'm doing with my sim setup is slowly investing into things as I'm able to save and afford it. One at a time and this seems like a nice addition I'd like to add and if possible an Airbus MCDU as well

I have been a flight simmer since the very first iteration of Microsoft Flight Simulator and I have played pretty much every other simulator that has come along since then. I have spent a boat load of dough on add-on aircraft, sceneries and various flight sim peripherals such as joysticks, throttles, HOTAS, flight sim yokes, headphones and VR headsets. The original Oculus Rift CV1 and now currently the Reverb G2. I'm not going to talk about the $3500 PC I recently purchased for FS2020 and Star Citizen. After watching this review I think that the FMC is definitely DOPE! and I will buy it when it becomes available for the FS2020 Airbus(shout out to the FLYBYWIRE SIM TEAM) or Future 737. The only reason I would consider it is because I have EVERY other thing that I need for a good flight sim experience. If you find yourself only flying x-plane 11, you have every other thing you need for flight sim and don't plan on switching to a new sim and have $800 to blow on something then I'd say get it. But... if you find yourself needing to upgrade your video card or motherboard or wanting a new 4k monitor then I'd say wait and invest into those things first and then splurge on something like this. It's DOPE though, don't get me wrong.

I bought a stand for an iPad that lets me access the CDU of the flight factor 767/757 somewhat realistically but of course real buttons would be nice. Limited run hardware like this just isn’t cheap. Still, if they can significantly broaden the aircraft support they might get plenty of takers at 800.

I’ve always wondered if the streamers who use this are able to calculate their takeoff distance required in marginal conditions.
It'd be great as long as you're not using VR - maybe pass-through will change that.

Looks great, but I would be hard pressed to pay even $200 for it. $100-$150 tops.
I bought one of these recently. Within a week some off the buttons failed to work. Just keep pressing them but they either don't respond or there is a delayed response. The buttons that were being used the most were the problem so it was a degenative problem with poor quality buttons. I exchanged it for a new one and guess what ! exactly the same problem on the second one. I complained to the manufacturer and they said they were ashamed !! I took a full refund in the end. They look great but they just don't work. Don't wast your money.

Ridiculous. I'm sure they've crunched the numbers, but surely if they reduced the price to around $300/400 then more people would impulse buy it. I probably would. I bet it costs them nowhere near that figure to make it, although it does look great quality.
799 is a big ask. You can build a decent gaming PC for that
