I would like to try one out….. maybe in 2023 as I have a bunch of Orders already out there for this year. Thanks for the Video my friend. 🤠👮🏻♂️🇺🇸👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. B9USA Sr.
I looked at Lucky Gunner’s “Lab” results for velocity and terminal performance. The difference between 2” and 4” wasn’t always that great, especially in bullet expansion. The Carry version really isn’t unmanageable in terms of recoil, but I’m carrying +P loads in all of my revolvers right now. Thanks for watching. 👍
I got the 2 inch 38 Cobra about a year after it came it. I almost wish I had waited for the 3 inch version. Then again it’s probably just a psychological thing.
I mostly carry .38 Special +P in all of my .357 revolvers, so it’s not a big deal for me. The boom from a .357 round would be insane without hearing protection.
I think they’re roughly the same size and weight, but the King Cobra being made now have a much higher polish. Shooting.38 specials is probably the same.
I got a lemon but man was it a beautiful gun hopefully you got one of the good ones. Mine ate a trigger return spring and hammer now on its second trip to Colt.
Mine is still being shot regularly, and is working fine. The trigger return spring is tiny, but Colt won’t sell the parts. I hope yours get sent back in good working order.
@@jltsvlogs1837 130 rounds of 38 special a cylinder of 357 magnums and some light dry fire with snap caps. It's been back to Colt 4 times now this current trip I asked for a replacement.
$1000 wow. I just ordered one yesterday - its marked as a "blem" and stated that the blems are purely cosmetic and they don't affect function.. $699 - so by the time it gets to me tax and ffl transfer... $800 I guess you liked your 3" version otherwise, you wouldn't have bought this 2" lol.
Hi Michael, I already had a holster for my 3” King Cobra, that’s the one I use for the 2”. The 2” is usually carried in my pants pocket, so I haven’t looked much further. The 3” holster is on Amazon. It’s an Aysesa.
@@Dragonfire1911 Yeah I've got the colt myself the extra weight isn't bad especially if you plan on shooting a lot of 357. Fun gun I shot it more than my Glock when I first got it.
Should look up a 2 in original on video or Google images. That looks nothing like the original one. Where is the adjustable rear sight? The original is a huge gun. Like a 2 in. Model19 Dirty Harry . The trigger is wrong and the trigger guard isn't squared off. The barrel isn't rounded off like the original. Wt* is wrong with Colt? They could have made a ton of money off these if they had done them right. Guys have been wanting colt to reintroduce them for years, and when they finally bring them back, they look only similar to the originals. Like a 71 Challenger compared to a 2020 Challenger. Huge disappointment. Colt has never ran their business right. That's why they're always in bankruptcy court. Sad.
CZ USA owns Colt now, and I’ve noticed an improvement in the fit and finish of the revolvers. I’ve never seen an older 2” Cobra with rear sights, but I don’t know if I’d want them. The stock front sight is nearly worthless, but a fiber optic works well with the rear notch. I wouldn’t even think of buying a 2017 Cobra. Its barrel bulges toward the frame, and that’s just weird. Having said that, I stupidly dropped my 3” King Cobra on a concrete floor the week after I bought it. Colt installed a new hammer free of charge, and paid for shipping both ways. I would like to see a rear sight for the 3” model.

Cool little King Cobra. Personally, I think I would go with the 3 inch model. 2 seems a little short for a 357, at least for me.

Cool! I'm hoping to find one during the next gunshow this month. Its going to be my ankle carry gun.

Nice! I wonder how that compares to the Cobra - not King Cobra - that was re-introduced a few years ago?

After how many rounds did that happen?

@@hatchetwound666 ahh that sucks to hear man good luck with it hopefully this one isn’t so bad I’m in Illinois so I can’t pick it up for 3 days
Now that it’s been a bit do u still prefer the 2 over the 3 ? I have the 3inch one and like it so much I’d buy another lol
The 2” easily fits in my pocket, and the 3” is just a bit more accurate with fast shooting. They’re both great.

Cool review any issues with it at all ? I’m thinking of getting one..
Not a single problem. 👍👍👍👍
Just Got one for 699$ brand new ….you got screwed
Great Deal! 👍👍👍👍
You probably bought a blemished one.
I got one just like that today 😍 I gotta wait my 10 days 🤷🏼♂️
I wouldn’t have the patience to wait that long. Congrats, and I hope you enjoy it! 👍👍👍👍
What is the manufacture year of your pistol?
I’m not 100% certain, but it had just arrived at the gun shop the day I bought it.
Accurate? How far out? maybe 7 yards?
7 yards for best accuracy, will hit at 15 yards with concentration, and 25 yards is doable on an 8” target.
That post wasn't for the creator of this vid. It was just a colt rant.
Anyone who owns this gun have any luck finding a owb holster to fit it?

Amazon relentless suede holster
Is this the smallest .357 six shot revolver ?
As far as I know.
Kimber K6S might have it beat I'd compare those two if you're looking for the smallest 6 shot.
@@hatchetwound666 OK I looked it up & yes the Kimber is a little bit smaller. But Colt vs Kimber I'd trust my life more with Colt.

Ok. On Colts use the latch to close cylinder. Don't push it..
Is it heavy??
26 ounces. It’s heavier than my Smith&Wesson alloy framed 642 revolvers, but not heavy enough to be uncomfortable for pocket carry.
I love it I need it but I want classic wooden grips
It has wood stocks now. 😎

So beautiful it would almost be a crime to use it but screw it life is short I need a colt so I can protect my sheep
That’s what I just paid for mine 1045.00
It was worth it. I carry mine everyday. 👍
