Nice video FSM. That vice is something else, but i already have a pana vice system with multiple jaws, bases, and a couple of different selves. Not a leather one though. And cool model show.
Beautiful 💖💖
Thank you!
Did someone say 'bal-locks" ? Was that, some kind of, 'ball-gag'? 😆
That vice and accessories is the Bees Knees. I want one! (them)!
LOL - Heritagecon 16. Heritagecon 17 is next year - hooefully you will be allowed to come up.
2024 ... er ... 2025!
I would like to see you discuss the changes coming after the Kalmbach sale. I usually would get my digital version of FSM a week or so before the magazine arrived in the mail. I received the magazine over a week ago, but nothing has shown up in Zinio. I am just wondering if this is one of the changes taking place.
Hi Scott,
Thanks for letting us know about your hiccup with Zinio. I forwarded your message to our circ team yesterday and they locked down what had happened. You should be able to access it in your Zinio library now. This particular issue has to do with our new fulfillment agency, which we moved to before the Firecrown acquisition, so they are not related. Circ is working with our agency to make sure this doesn't happen again. -TK
@@FineScaleModelermagazine Thanks! The digital issue has popped up now. As I mentioned, it was odd not to preview the new issue before the magazine arrived in the mail. I appreciate your looking into the issue!
The French plane the first one you showed is a mono plane. Spitfires, mustangs, hurricanes are all mono winged aircraft. Dual or bi wing aircraft like the gypsy moth has two sets of wings each side top and bottom. So why is that French aircraft a dual wing?
I don't think anyone said it was a dual wing kit. We said "lower wing" and "upper wing" to reference the upper and lower wing halves. But otherwise, you're right, it's a monoplane.
Is it possible you heard "double wings" when they said "Dora Wings?"
@FineScaleModelermagazine If you said Dora then I will say sorry as I was wrong but it really sounded like you said dual. So please for give me and admit I was wrong.
What happened to the background posters??
We're in the process of refreshing those.
@@FineScaleModelermagazine sweet, always look forward to the poster flavor of the month
Any chance of getting your Group Builds working again? I subscribed to FSM and was on the GBs for 10 years plus. Four years ago everything shut down and now nothing. And one less subscriber. And looking at the group build followings, they're only a handful of what they were. Aaron ran one on WWI fighters and had hundreds of followers. But it worked then and now it doesn't. If you fix your forums, I will subscribe to you magazine again. I hear you're getting new owners - they might want to look into this.
Isn't FSM part of Kalmbach, who I just heard, are going out of business?
FineScale Modeler, Astronomy, Trains, Model Railroader, Classic Trains, and Classic Toy Trains have all been bought by Firecrown Media. Kalmbach will wind down but the brands are continuing on.
@@FineScaleModelermagazine Thank you. Good to know!
"Vice?" 🤣
We thought it was funny.
anti vice squad will be knocking on the door if you are not careful
Vices, got your vices here!
