Thanks for the video. Dad has the iPhone 14 Pro Max and I always wondered if we're at a point where a phone from 2020 is 'good enough'. Since 5G isn't a factor in my area, and I'm near a charger most to not really notice the gains in efficiency since 2020, this video is making me really consider the LG V60.
My lg V600AM just received the September security patch. Kudos to lg for keeping up their promise. I for one have no doubt that we will receive Android 13 for these phones
Even if you don't have LG anymore, it's still trendy because of the dual screen timing because foldable phones are coming out. LG is still stunning and there is an update, soon there will be a V70 when LG comes back

A good Android smartphone, with at least a Snapdragon 865, you find a good Gcam for photo + MotionCam for video and you have nothing to envy to a 14 Pro, S22 Ultra and other $1200 smartphones.

They sound the same until you use quality headphones. Then there is no comparison. The V60 sounds fantastic and supports a per ear audio analyzer. I was blown away by this feature.
He also didn't play ideal music to bring the best out of it. I don't listen to that tickity-tickity tinny rubbish. Same nonsense I annoyingly hear in the lugholes of youngsters on public transport.

my one complaint is the back glass on the v60 is the most fragile damn glass ever put on a phone, it will shatter on the first drop even with a good case it's just gonna shatter. The screen is tough as nails though.

08:12, I suspect the V60 captured its shots on AUTO mode as opposed to MANUAL mode. Use the latter competently and the outcome is a different story. I rarely shoot AUTO, ditto dedicated SLR cameras.

I have the V60 too, it works great but I am ready to try a different mobile operating system. I have always been an android person with the Samsung S10 and the LG V60. I have always been somewhat curious about apple. I preordered the Iphone 14 Pro Max, the cameras just seem so much better than on the LG V60. I mostly play mobile games on my V60. I am hoping eventually to travel and I feel like the Iphone will be great for recording videos and taking photos.
I made the switch from the V60 to the iPhone Pro Max 13 this past April. I love the V60 but this was a good time to move to something else since support will eventually end. The Pro Max camera (even the 14PM) isn't quite as good as the V60, IMO...that's the only thing I really miss. I'm keeping my V60 as a backup/emergency phone for now.
I just got the iphone 13, it was free with my phone carrier. I prefer the lg but I am getting use to the iphone. It's not bad once you learn the flow of ios. I like to multitask so I miss having multi screens. The iphone doesn't have that at all. Also the widgets on the iphone are terrible. Face unlock is great, it works flawlessly. The colors are better on the iphone but LG pictures look just as good. The battery on the iPhone seems better but I am comparing it to a 2 yr old phone that I use heavily. The charging port on the iPhone is definitely better. I've never heard of anyone with an iphone complain about their port going bad. It doesn't hurt to upgrade to the iphone and see if u like it. Carriers may have a deal on the 13 for free. The software is the same and the hardware isn't that much different from the 14 except for the dynamic island. But that's only on the top models.
I just got Samsung S23 and LG V60 for my little sister. I loved it! I would have sold my S23 for V60 if V60 has one hand operation. And it is missing some other features that I love on Samsung. Dammit😢

The $1200 Iphone still cant do what the LG can. The LG is still 2 or 3 years ahead of the Iphone and many other phones. The phones similar to the LG are S22 and Oneplus 10
The only problem i have with the LG is the display. Very vibrant display but displays some colors wrongly. I always try to view my Graphic designs on both phones and iphone simply displays true to life colors. LG is not far behind though. Great phone.
Setting the phone to “Cinema” display mode produces more accurate colors than the default setting. Compared to my monitor, which matches 99% of Adobe SRGB, the V60 is pretty close.

Mcpro24fps is great, but the native manual camera app is better than pretty much every other phone cam app out there.
I have the V60 Dual and nothing I have tried comes close. From the amazing DAC for audio to the screen display this is still my goto.

It's illegal to change IMEI number depending on your country but that's mostly anywhere since it'll make the phone untraceable

The V60 will get one more software update Android 13 and that's going to be it
