    You didn’t have to pour the oil into the bowl. After you put the beads in the jar just Tare it out then pour the oil into the jar. Don’t need the bowl.

    • @thebossblitz
      @thebossblitz  Před rokem +7

      It can absolutely be done that way. But if I make a mistake of pouring slightly too much, it is very easy to take my bowl and pour it back inside the bottle instead of risking a bigger spill or mess! Any time I measure fragrance to ensure I get the right amount I use a bowl. For my candles and wax melts as well. Not everyone has to do it my way but that’s just what I prefer just in case I make an error.

    Sorry if i’m asking a silly question..i’m interested to make this but can we still use the oven for food? 😊 great tutorial, by the way. Very detailed and organized, i am able to grasp it easily. 😊

    • @thebossblitz
      @thebossblitz  Před rokem

      Not a silly question at all! When I finish with mine, I don’t notice any smell good or bad left afterwards. Personally, since it is so small I wouldn’t use the toaster oven for food afterwards since it is a very small space. But a larger, conventional home oven usually presents no issue for other makers of traditional freshies if you are using it for food afterwards.

    I just subscribe to your channel to the one where you were making candlewick now on these beads how long does the fragrance stay around and where would you place these in your car? I like the way you edit your videos they are very professional. Thank you for sharing and making it simple for us beginners

      Thank you! My scents in the car usually last about six weeks! Best results are when it’s warm weather. And it’s ideal to place them in a cup holder or under the seat!

    Great video btw very beginner friendly. I have seen on Amazon the tins with the hole would you recommend those using your method also how should these be packaged if selling? Any feedback is greatly appreciated 😊

    • @thebossblitz
      @thebossblitz  Před rokem

      The ones with the holes in their kids should work the same! As far as packaging I just label mine and sell them as is, but you could absolutely use small soap boxes, organza bags, or cellophane bags too!

    Can you tell me if any glitter is safe to use in these or does it have to be a specific kind?

    • @thebossblitz
      @thebossblitz  Před 8 měsíci

      Honestly I have only seen people use things like biodegradable glitter in freshies!

  • @tonyjenkins9971
    @tonyjenkins9971 Před rokem +1

    What do you typically sell them for?

    • @thebossblitz
      @thebossblitz  Před rokem +4

      It is entirely based on my personal cost. Then multiplied by four. My cost is $1.37 and then I charge 6 (so yes over but I have to cover the service fee for my website that’s coming).
      I can make a tutorial on a full cost breakdown if you’d like!

    Can candle fragrance oil or essential oil be used on aroma beads

    • @thebossblitz
      @thebossblitz  Před 10 měsíci +1

      In this video I used candle fragrance oil. I’m not sure that essential oils would absorb correctly or give off enough scent after the entire process.

    how are you ? in some website there are 3 type of shaped beads. which one would you recommend?

  • @cherlonchildress1621
    @cherlonchildress1621 Před 3 měsíci

    How long would you back them if they were 4 oz tins?
    So would I double the tim 10 minutes?

    • @thebossblitz
      @thebossblitz  Před 3 měsíci +1

      That really depends on thickness but that would probably be a good start! The best thing to do is bake them, see if the top looks “melted” but still able to see bead shape. And then let it cool and shake it. If you hear beads moving when you shake it you may need to bake longer!

    What does heating them do? Couldn't you just put a few holes on top and screw the lid and be good?

    • @thebossblitz
      @thebossblitz  Před rokem +1

      The reason you heat them is because if you don’t, and someone puts it in their car without the lid, the beads will get everywhere and cause a huge mess. Heating the beads inside the tin allows them to fuse together just enough so nothing falls out.
      You can take the beads and put them in organza bags uncovered too. But I would not recommend those for car use because they’d melt onto the surfaces inside of the car.

    • @thebossblitz
      @thebossblitz  Před rokem

      You could poke holes inside of it I guess. But they would have to be very small. And I’m not sure the scent would go through well enough.

      May I ask what fragrance oils you’re using? Also in colder months the scent throw is quite a bit weaker than warmer months!
