I think this goes for every senior across the nation in the Class of 2020 when I say our year didn't end the way we anticipated, but there is always a light at the end of the tunnel! Also thank you Skylar Weigand for this idea!

I just wanted to say that this video gave me the chills. You did such an amazing job at showing what the class of 2020 is all about. I do not go to your school, but I am a senior as well. This year was supposed to be one of the most memorable and important years of our lives. I think it still will be a very memorable year, just not in the way that we originally had thought or hoped for. Needless to say, all classes of 2020 did get to live it up from the months of August to March, thankfully. Thank you for making this awesome video.

Im a senior but I don't go to this school, I love my senior class and I wish we had all done more to have school pride. I'll never have these experiences again. I gave back my school stuff last week and I officially graduate in 10 days. I will miss highschool so much! People who still have time left in highschool, please take advantage of it! Go to that game, try out for that sport. Go sing your heart out at a dance. I love you class of 2020

As a French teenager, watching this video makes me realize how bad the French school system is. Starting the class at 7:30 Am, ending at 5 pm, having a lot of homework... I can tell you. It’s extremely boring.
And in the other hands, you guys seem to be happy and proud of your high school. There are a lot of activity, and everything is made for the students and their comfort.
In France: teachers are most of the time disrespectful. They don’t even love their job. They make fun of your dreams, they don’t encourage you to work hard. We have only two hours of sport in a WEEK. 2 HOURS ! Only! We don’t have a football team, or something. IT’S BORING AF!!

This is such a great video! I’m SHHS 99’. My senior year was Columbine. Not that it is anyway the same as what your class is dealing with, but we understand the need to endure, staying strong and being there for each other. The 2020 class is going to do amazing things, regardless how the year ended. Keep up the positivity!

Gave me chills and I don’t even know these kids. I do have a niece that is a senior and I ache for all the seniors are missing but I love the way they are handling it. As a 21 year teacher I’ve seen a lot but this beats them all!! Love to the seniors of 2020. The best is yet to come.
I mean this from the bottom of my heart, I’m sorry you didn’t get to do all of the fun things seniors get to do at the end of the year. It may seem trivial to someone who has been out of highschool for such a long time but I know back then it meant a lot, if nothing for the memories. I wish I could experience everything Americans experience at school. In Australia we don’t have homecoming, all the proms and do softball games and other sport games at a schools stadium. Wow, just wow! I graduated from SHHS in 1991. I am currently a teacher in Douglas County and my senior son goes to Chaparral. This was truly an amazing tribute to your class, and all 2020 classes. I am so impressed with this video. You obviously poured your heart and soul into this project. I am so glad my previous teacher from SHHS posted this link on her FB. Angie P. was a teacher and basketball coach at Smoky. This was so touching and heartbreaking at the same time. Looks like you got your Senior night and wish week. Our Chap family won't get those and as a parent I am heartbroken that I won't walk onto Echo Stadium with my son during Senior Lacrosse Night. However, your video packs a powerful message for the future of all Classes of 2020. Thanks for making my heart my cry and smile today.

As a British teen I’ve began to realise how different our schooling is to yours. You have rallies and take so much pride in you school. You even thanked smoky for the experience. But for me I can’t wait till my last day next year. I’m gonna move on and never look back

This video is amazing! I am a parent of a senior and even though it’s a different school half way across the country, you captured what all the class of 2020 is about. An athlete, musician, performer, dancer, or regular joe..the sense of community everyone is apart of is wha you can feel through watching this video. I used to go to this school. And I have to say it is by far the best school in the world. It becomes a family. It really breaks my heart in a bittersweet way watching this video. Though I'm not a senior I have seen the way these kids worked to graduate and to be fair I really saw myself graduating from SHHS and being apart of the marching band there. But it was sadly torn away when my family had us move somewhere else. I couldn't experience these memories but I'm happy seeing the love, joy, determination, and so many other emotions on the kids faces. It's so beautiful to see people grow up whether you know them or not. And I am proud to be apart of this school where we encourage and support everyone around us. And Im proud of the senior class for being so strong. Its amazing how far they and others have come

I absolutely love this video! Thank you for sharing! Not only is it inspiring for the class of 2020, but the way you put it together, it captures the emotions so well. As I watched I was able to reflect on my own senior year, how it was for me, how it would feel now during this pandemic. It put into perspective how my son might feel. This is my son’s Senior year, too. What really connected me to this, and to the Seniors of 2020 in addition to being a mother of a Senior, is at the beginning with 9/11 and the ending of your video it is mentioned about the excitement of the family being there at the graduation. Only difference is I am on the parent end of it. My son is my first born, so I went through 9/11 with a new born as a first time parent. How scary it was for me then, to this pandemic with my kids. All year I have been so excited to get things ready for his graduation, and to watch my son walk the stage. To experience and be apart of that big moment in his life. Now I won’t be able to experience that. But, we will make a big celebration of course. I am very sad for the class of 2020 not getting to have the celebration of walking the stage that has been a tradition for many decades now! But, this is a chance to make something bigger. We have the technology to create the biggest celebration ever. Idea suggestion. Since video editing is your passion, perhaps you could gather as many videos and photos from all over the US and create a video honoring the class of 2020. Just an idea. It would be a big project, but It might be a fun one if you have time to create it.
