You can pack extra gear in the spot next to her and get it off the bikes frames, sweet! Those elastic zipper pull/roll hangers are nice because you can zip them up half way for 'some air' and some shelter as well as wrap the extra rolled up window in the pull. Nice.

First, can I just say that Li'l Dusty is amazing! She is so cute and obviously is loving the outdoors.
Second, man do babies get cool stuff these days! I mean, this is like a Cadillac of baby strollers.
Also, I can't be the only one thinking of Danny MacAskil Daddy Daycare, am I?
Also also, every time she says the name Burly, I can't help but be reminded of Park and Recreation.
Stay upright and keep the rubber side down.

It is a very good and beautiful solution for the transport of the small and inexhaustible Steve. 💪😁

We had an earlier version of the Burly back when our son was still small and it was awesome. Looks like they did some cool updates to the design and they look awesome. Enjoy.

i used a trailer for a bit with my daughter, but ultimately i hated it, granted ours is not nearly that nice. things to be aware of is when used as a trailer unless you had the plastic cover down the inside would gather a lot of grit from the rear tire and covered my kiddo, but if you put the plastic down it got way to hot in the compartment during the summer so i rigged a fender to decrease the debri. other thing i disliked was the bulk of it and low ride height. the set up and storage was awkward as we have small cars. on the plus side she enjoyed it 70% of the time and we did get to go out and ride bikes. the plastic floor on yours sounds great as ours was just fabric and the slightest puddle got the bottom wet. the moment i heard about the mac ride seat i jumped on it now that my kid is 2.5 yrs old her enjoyment has tripled as did mine, its great to have her feel so connected to what we are doing vs just bouncing around behind us. obviously you have a while before something like that is an option. ramble over lol

@@dustybettymtb I never had a grit problem with my boy but perhaps the dry Arizona climate made the difference. I've also found that the screen doesn't flow all that much air, at least on my trailer. In fact, on one of our first rides, it was about 85 and he got red in the face pretty quickly, almost like he was in a parked car even though he was well shaded at 12 mph. Once I stopped using the screen, no more redness. You could test it with a fan to see how much gets through. You might be surprised at the difference. It's the same with window screens and somewhat relatedly, electric fans. Add in a bit of dust, hair, or any tiny airborne debris and the efficiency of the screen and/or fan drops quickly. Also if the rear of the trailer isn't vented, no new air can come in at any appreciable rate so the screen acts as more of a solid surface.

I don't know if Burley offers this, but my sister used a special hammock with her Chariot when my nieces were too small to be towed sitting in the seat. So she was able to tow them with the bike I think from three months on.
Love Burley as a brand. I own the Burley Flatbed, which is a cargo trailer and it's so extremely convenient if you don't own a car.

Maybe I missed it but how will the trailer connect to the bike with thru axles or skewers?
BTW, lights on the back are good during the day as well

Nice video. How is this trailer when you go cycling/bikepacking off road? Do you feel you miss fatter tires? I know you cannot get the fat tyres option on this model unfortunately as they don’t fit
