- I bought an argo from a friend it was located at a remote cabin. Normally they access the cabin with bush planes. There was some old fire break lines cut in by the forestry, these fire lines/trails were visible on google maps. So with gps coordinates and screen shots of google maps we planned a day trip to retrieve it with snow machines it was 130 mile trip
I picked up a 2016 Argo Avenger 750 HD,, 32hp with the admiral transmission. I bought some Argo rubber tracks and man can I go places with that in the winter. Very low PSI foot print,, doesn’t sink in the soft snow. Wish I had been with your group,, good friends some sledding and being outdoors what more do you need. Cheers from Canada
Big Rescue adventure. Good mission. Common goal. Great scenery. Tough on equipment. More vids just like this one. Thank you
cool adventure!
A bunch of guys who know how to get shit done. Love it.
Well done! I see videos where they get artificially stuck, etc. this was very authentic, great job !
Another great video! Thank you guys and good luck!
Thanks for watching
What, no Beer! LOL great run and wise of you to bring someone along to clear the trail!
Your sled works well!!!!! Good job Men...
cant wait to see you working on it and getting it to go !
Thanks for watching
Great trip hope the Argo works out !
Fun adventure, thank you sharing.
I thought I had it bad having to drive 5 hours in a warm truck to pick up my Argo. Then again your trip looked like it was a great time out in the woods.
Amazing trip.
Good trip. Faster taking it out by snow machine than driving it - even if is was drive-able.
You guys are just wicked,, fun to watch,, but no chucken beer,, com-on-man.. Aloha
It was a long day with out it
@@diyalaskanlifestyle Try PBR coffee,, comes in a 4 pack 5%,, great with bacon ,,eggs & home fries!! Try it...
Nice work guys! I'm pretty sure I bought a couple old tundras from your dad a couple months back. I like your channel, keep up the good work. Maybe we will run into each other on the trail someday.
Looks like you had a good trip with little trouble. Argo looks like its had been towed before lol! Good luck with it there's been a lot of improvements since that one came off the assembly line! Take care.
I think that thing was built before the assembly line was even invented
Nice Job!
You all really cross the river. crazy but interesting to watch.
Hello Jennifer how are you doing today.
Definitely would have waited 10 mins for road pops! Nice work!
What are road pops?
@@cheeseburger9232 barley pop, beer, pitrun. Ect.
The three snowmobiles behind should have been ahead packing and widening the trail
Grew up out there
Indonesia is here 👆👍👍👍💘💘💘
Should have used something heavier for dunage. Those railroad ties might break.
Love the trailer how did you get it?
Ask an Alaskan what do you do in winter? Wait for summer!
What do you do in summer?
Get ready for winter!
Did you buy the Argo? Or were you packing it out for someone else?
I bought it from a friend, thanks for watching
Hell of a trip. You were towing with the new machine?
Yes it was brand new I broke 100 mile and 200 mile mark on this trip
Holy crap you guys did all that for a freaking argo that looks like it's been beaten worse than a three-legged racehorse? I hope that was for the challenge?
the pulling sled is that an expedition
Yes it’s a 22 expedition 900 ace
Funny shit is the argo should have been better at getting through that terrain than any of those snowmobiles did
Gold king?
Yes, this cabin was on the east side of the wood
Been by there lots. We have a place in japan hills
Used to be excellent moose hunting. Did u see a bunch of mules. Walking around loose
No mules and not many moose either, I have a good friend that has been flying this area for the last 30 yrs and hunts near the Japan hills. He said flying from North Pole to the Ak range he would see 20-30 moose 20 yrs ago, now when I fly with him your lucky to see a moose that way.
Sad but true. Used to be quite a few. I was there two years ago seen a bunch of mules. On airstrip.
