He is widely regarded as one of the players with the greatest ball control in the game of football. He often takes part in charity games of the Manchester United legends and recently scored an absolute screamer against the legends of Liverpool.

But to catch a ball moving 60+ MPH with that precision is not an easy task. Keep in mind, he is retired from years and yet again it took him few tries, considering the angles. Berba is honestly a great guy and a great player. Blessed to have watching him in his prime entertaining us. He always had a bit of magic in him.
Been trying to teach my son the importance of the 1st touch and I use Berba as the perfect example. Massively underrated player.
some people said he was lazy on the pitch not have passion. but no. he was just smart enough to know when is needed to run and when is better to save his energy dor better situation later.

We see Berbatov has still got it. I would say he was one of the finest players during his active days in the Premier League. Great first touch, ability to give the final pass and an unbelievable goal instinct. 2010/2011 was his best season being the joint top goalscorer in the league, three of those 20 goals he netted against Liverpool for the final 3:2 at Old Trafford on Sep 19th 2022. @Shoot for Love Thank you for this video!
berbatov's best seasons were 2007-9. goals do not define berbatov's seasons, he's a whole lot more than just that

I grew up watching these legends like CR7, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Wayne Rooney, Luis Nani etc. and of course Berba played for Man Utd. As a Man Utd fan he was one of my favourite players in the team. I'm so glad to watch them together, if there was no Barcelona in 2009 & 2011, Man Utd probably would've won the both finals. Anyways it was so good see Berba again, thanks for everything guys.
If Uefalona didn't cheat against Chelsea in 2009, I'm sure we would've won the champions League again.

Dimitar Berbatov’s calmness under pressure and ability to pull a moment of magic out of nowhere was an absolute joy to watch when he was in a United shirt. Honestly my favourite United player growing up

Loved Berba! Him signing for United back in the day was so mad, he was on his way to sign for City on deadline day and Sir Alex kidnapped him then brought him to Old Trafford to sign the contract. That hattrick against Liverpool will always be my favourite moment of his for United, what a player!
And sir Alex essentially ruined his career later. I think he would have been better off at city

Berba is godlike in ball stopping and control. His mentality and attitude are totally Man Utd and we are eternally grateful for everything that he had and has done for Man Utd. The classiest footballer we are lucky enough to witness.
Wonderful to see Berbatov in a United jersey. So humble considering how big his achievements have been. I was once visiting Bulgaria and happened to wear my United jersey at a fast food place and the guy goes - " We love United because of Berbatov" ...I hadn't quite thought of it from that perspective!
Berbatov is different from the other football players. The synergy between the intelligence with which he plays, the hard work he puts in, his fighting nature and his talent make him extraordinary. To this day, there is no other football player like him!

I started watching football through man united since 2005. There were many high-quality players that days in man united, but I cannot forget the impression I felt from berba's touch and his elegant play when I was a child. That was absolutely his only thing. Especially, the artistic turn against west ham in the 08-09 season and the overhead kick against liverpool in the 10-11 season are still unbelievable. I remember him as a player who made us happy to watch football. I'm happy to see his touch again through the video. Thanks for everything he showed us and thanks for letting me see his touch again!
Berba is a legend for all Bulgarians. Remember watching his games with my family and then the next day during high school practices trying out the same skills. Only regret is not seeing him in person. Great vid!
I’m probably one of the only fans I’ve ever met in the states whose favorite soccer player was Dimitar Berbatov. At school even people called me “Berbatov”. And I went to a school in South Central LA. I remember being so happy my mom was finally gonna buy me a LONG SLEEVE Berbatov jersey that I still have today. It was the 2010-11 Season Jersey. Which means even more to me because it was the year he won the golden boot and put 3 behind Liverpool. I will never understand how Berbatov was benched for the 2011 final against Barca in the CL. But I know it’s something that Fergie has gone on record to say he made a mistake. And he did. I own his book with his signature on it which I value a lot. I remember being so sad the day he was taken off fifa. It was in fifa 18 he was no longer available in career mode. If you ask anyone who knows me. They’ll know who my favorite soccer player in history is. And it’s the Bulgarian Dimitar Berbatov. 🔥
What a player he was. I grew up with him and being a Bulgarian I was watching every singe match that he played in. National team, CSKA, Bayern Leverkusen, Tottenham, Man U, Fulham, Monaco.. if I ever missed a game I would wait for the news or go online to check if he had scored a goal. Good times. And that first touch.. unmatched.

When i was able to use smartphone, i was searching at CZcams Dimitar Berbatov Skills and Goals. For me he is a hero of the golden times from football and Bulgaria. Like he said balance the hard working and smart working. Absolutely Legend Idol man. I appreciate it guys to that you have been made a video with Berbatov. This guy is special. For me his is among great players like rooney, keano ,scholes ,jaap stam,evra, van persie, becks. His technique, skilled n goals is just incredible. The way he moves with the ball on the pitch. he is a natural talent and always loved and enjoyed watching him play. He is an artist

I really love his message at the end! It’s really good advice for kids, I sure would’ve loved to hear it when I was younger. I always was trying to be like Ronaldinho and later Sneijder but that’s totally not my style. I’m not a 5 star skill king with and an amazing dribbler or a accurate passer/shooter/freekicker. I wasted a lot of time with it.
I was all about speed and passing the defenders at high speed. When I truly found out that was what made me good and I got there eventually being noticed by VVV Venlo and NEC Nijmegen here in the Netherlands.
But like all fairytales mine came to an end as well when the doctors told me I had fluid in both my knees and had weak knie joints, it would be irresponsible to play any longer and had to quit football entirely.
So even if I would’ve been at a pro club from young age, I never would’ve made it to the real deal.
Happy they found out though, without it I would’ve kept going even if it was on amateur level and ended up with totally worthless knees and not even been able to play with my own kids.
I absolutely loved Berbatov in his playing days. Legend he is.

As an Arsenal fan that idolised Dennis Bergkamp I always felt that Berba was the nearest I ever saw with the touch and grace on the football pitch. Capable of magic on a football pitch. Not easy to say given he played for Spurs and United but a wonderful player. Some serious life lessons in there too about challenging yourself and not giving up; even when the ball was hitting into him and smacked him in the nuts there wasn't a chance he was going to quit, there was no doubt he was going to control that ball and complete the challenge. A skill set clearly honed to a perceived level of perfection through hard work, To a level set only by himself and most likely a level Mr Berbatov knew was never achievable as our beautiful game knows no limits.
