@@sameerhussain444 pretty close iirc. Like july or something. But game is 90 percent complete. They will add new character to play.

Death Must Die was really good before the skill trees came in. They feel a bit...meaningless with the little 1% attack speed per point upgrades and stuff like that. I preferred the old passives better that really shaped your run.
@@Nerex7 I agree. I think they could implement both systems into the same. Along with the unique stuff from the talent tree, the old passives could further make each build more unique.
@@dbean5174 Yea something along the lines. The current trees sadly make it kinda boring because you either play the one or the other talent that is provided and they just don't have the same impact the old ones had. All the other passive 2-3% nodes are basically useless. It's basically the old system with a lot of useless fluff around it to make it look like a bigger tree (also hidden behind a grind). It really needs more work.

Man, it's been a while since I saw this game. Good to see it has a ton of new stuff.
It's come a very long way since it first released.
Out of the many, many reasons I love this game is the build modularity. You can make some really crazy and fun playstyles with each character. Case in point, I made two builds with Aladdin.
The first, I got the talents that give me a higher chance of rarer upgrades later on which got me the abilities to gain money when hitting enemies with my swords and another that sometimes gives me a copy of an item when I get it, which really helps with the Collection bonuses they put in this update.
The other was all about my punch genie, with talents that increase the punch crit damage by spending enchantment points, then the talent that makes the genie grab the spinning blades to do a slash attack, THEN another talent that makes the genie attack 3 times, making it really easy to clear rooms. I can't wait for what the devs introduce next!
Agreed. The builds you can craft are so cool and with rerolls it's so much easier to craft them.
I love this game, finally some games i enjoy! Hope you revisit at 1.0 as well and hopefully once spiritfall adds custom runs you'll revisit that one too! Also astrea six sided oracles added mod support this week, there's already a few dozen mods available! Keep it up 😊

I just discovered the game with friends yesterday. Love it!!! Although we still probably don't know what we are doing 😅. But I'm definitely enjoying piper and he combos really well with the ice queen

Great video! Also loving the game. Quick question - why would you want to start the boss before the timer expires? Aren't you leaving free loot / XP on the table? I never run the -20% boss max health nodes since the boss fights are not timed, whereas everything else is. Seems less optimal, no?
Only reason for starting the boss early as a content creator I value your guys time a lot. If I think I'm strong enough I will take on the boss instead of grinding to get more powerful. XP is pretty pointless to me after level 10 since you aren't getting more talents. I always take on tumors when I see them. I'd rather fight a boss at 80 or 60 % health than 100% health. Just my opinion but removing that HP from the boss is extremely powerful compared to the majority of other nodes.

I love the rerolls, I can make the exact build I want and the scarlet build I came up with is nuts.
They've finally made it easier to craft builds. Which all these games need imo.
@@TomVsEverything2024 is the year of the rogue like this update makes the game so much better. They’re gonna add a 4th stage i believe which will be nuts the runs already take nearly an hour right now lol

Do you as a mostly solo player feel like you're missing out on certain characters because of the coop nature? If I were to get it I would likely play mostly solo
They added rerolls which removes any feeling I had like that. Each character has lots of different abilities available. Some are clearly better in a group. Now I can just reroll for the ones I prefer.

Nope the wishes that give small stat buffs don't count

Cool video, the game looks great but is it as clunky as Curse of the Dead Gods? Do you also have to really on the parry mechanic like in that game? I really like this genre of games but CotDG felt super clunky and unplayable to me..
Nope you don't have to rely on parry at all. I wouldn't play if it did 😅
I didnt enjoy Dead Gods either for the same reason. This game is very nice and smooth to play. The big knock in this one is time management. Some people don't like being on a clock. I kinda dig it.
you might not like it, but curse of the dead gods is everything but clunky, if fact I'd argue it has the best combat out of those types of games, too responsive, flashy, with good enemy animations, dodging, parrying, all in a very clever stamina system that allows aggression to be rewarded, curse of the dead gods' main problem is just lack of content overall, it just tends to get repetitive

Don't have to buy it again, when 1.0 comes out its just an update for you. You definitely will get it at a better price in Early Access though. They have it at 30% off right now on steam.
Really wanting some new characters. I mean we have a decent roster but I need more. Beauty and the beast, Peter Pan, mulan, Goldilocks, so many possibilities

I have. It's a good game but I'm not a fan of parrying in games because I suck at it 😅
Is it worth buying if its only 3 maps? Doesnt that get boring quickly?
That's a personal thing I think. Most games in this genre only have a few maps.

How solo friendly is this game?
Just my opinion but it's very solo friendly. I've played just under 100 hours since EA launch and never played co-op.

Without getting plus 50% damage to bosses, bosses die once before 5% health and doing those 2 things that lower their health by 20% each, I'm not sure you win that last boss fight. Was there another thing on the map to do their health by another 20%? If so I see them dropping that bc thats a huge amount.
Just the 2 fights on the map that lower boss HP by 20% each. Sometimes you don't find them and it definitely can make bosses harder to manage.
We need this on PS5.. 😅

i played this game about 5 months ago and it felt really really slow..the movement speed made it hard to traverse the map and get exp to level up and stuff, then the timer ran out and some blood demon pops up and i was no where near ready to fight them..i was doing like no damage to them so i got a refund..the game does look like its come a long way but i still think i am going to wait for full release..

Aladdin was pretty damn OP when this game first came out 😅
Pls go test the new update, he feels waaaay better now, grimoirs are maybe nerf but with the new sandman, reroll, item management and more gold along the way this just feel like a complete system far more rewarding
The Grimores may be nerfed to how they were, but they're easy to complete and are able to get more rerolls or extra damage for them (plus others) feels really valuable still, and feels better for balancing overall, Previously it was ridiculously easy to get all legendaries, now you have choices to make with the coin you acquire. I could be convinced it less good for a casual experience, but the easy difficulties don't require much, if any min/maxing anyway to get to the end
