I happened to come across this song today with the bible verse John 8: 31-32 "If you abide in My word, you are truly My disciples. You will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free". Amen to God !! I looked up the definition of the word "Abide". It means to bear patiently, to endure without yielding, to wait for, to remain stable or fixed in a state. How often do we have the patience to remain stable and wait for the Lord to show us the way? 今天早晨灵修时, 我边听这首诗歌, 边读约翰福音 8: 31-32 "你们若常常遵守我的道, 就真是我的门徒了; 你们必晓得真理, 真理必叫你们得以自由". 英文圣经 "Abide" 这个字包含了"留", "等候" 和 "遵守" 的意思. 如果我们能耐心的留在原地等候耶和华, 我们就能晓得神的引领了.
