In 1965, muscle cars were just starting to bloom. Pontiac completely restyled their full-sized vehicles inside and out. This 1965 Pontiac Catalina 2+2 Convertible is a fantastic example of that new styling.
After undergoing an extensive rotisserie restoration, this Catalina was brought back to life as it would have been when it left the factory. Inside, the white interior beautifully compliments the blue exterior. Options and accessories like special order bucket seats, original factory tachometer, and ride and handling package separates this Pontiac Catalina from the pack.
Putting power behind this classic is a more than capable 421 tri-power cubic inch engine. With purchase, this vehicle includes Pontiac Historic Services documents, copies of original order forms, and restoration documentation.
This 1965 Pontiac Catalina 2+2 Convertible will be up for auction this December in Raleigh, North Carolina. - Auta a dopravní prostředky
Beautiful, I knew it wasn't a Porsche. They never made a car that looked that good.
The mid 60s Pontiacs were awesome.
I owned a 1965 Pontiac 2+2, I really loved the style and the beauty of this car,.
Me to. Hate when they call it a Catalina , it’s a 2+2 model.
Man that has to be a blast to drive. Wouldn’t want to get out of it.
very stylish car 👌👌👍
Trunk deck not aligned, beautiful car. My dad owned a Catalina 65 same color 389, always loved that style
Wow, wish I'd known this car was available at the time. I wonder who has it now? Please post a reply here if anyone knows who has it now, I'd like to chase this one :-)
Had one red rag top 421 4 spd
Looks like they found everything but the original style steering wheel.
That is an optional wheel. It is made of real wood. The standard lucite wheel is my favorite, though.
@@dansmusic5749 It is Pontiac's Sports Wheel option, the same wheel as on the GTO. It is wood-grained plastic, not wood.
@@jackanderson2599 Did not know that. Thanks for the info.
3 wheels were offered on a '65 B-body (full size): standard wheel was monotone plastic to match interior; Deluxe wheel was the 2-tone , interior color and tinted lucite; Sports wheel, as described above.
