Caroline was cute but utterly narcissistic back then with her fake raspy voice and today she is the same times then, plus she is all about this hollywood satanist imagery in her videos and feminist ideological BS in her lyrics and interviews but contradicting her own political stance by sexualizing serself with every opportunity, like she never would have 15 years ago. How could anybody compare her to Keanu?
I'm guessing that's because radio hits in the 90s and 00s were rooted in guitar-driven tracks, and the 80s revival didn't begin until mid-2010s. Electronic music was seen as "80s" in 2009 because it wasn't mainstream.
Influences - I'm surprised people still use T'Pau as a reference, (or ever did... beyond a few months in 1988/89 -- their song 'china in your hands' is good). As for Kate Bush, of the few CL songs I've heard, none reminded me of her but take the comparison as a compliment...glad you like her.

Just found her, not a fan of music, kind of boring to me, but this woman is gorgeous looking. Don't care if it's a shallow comment. Cute here but looked 12 and like a grown woman now. Don't know did she had some work done because she still looks younger than her age. Good work if she did. Thumbs up, in 20y a gorgeous mifl!
