No idea, I think I might have the latest version for 2019. GIFs should work fine in any PowerPoint though :)

Even I rehearse timing and then click yes. My voice over still doesn't sync with the animation on powerpoint 2013. I use one complete voice over throughout the whole presentation. I set the voice over to play across the slides.

It's the part explained at 16:37 with "Rehearse timings". That's basically where you tell PowerPoint at what moment in the voiceover to move the slideshow forward by actually pressing the next button during slideshow (can be done with arrow key or space bar during slideshow)

thank you for this amazing material, appreciate if you can guide me to a tutorial for creation of animated ppt for bussiness usage. I.e. we have in oil & gas industry many of fatal incidents, the investigation target is to find what went wrong and identify root causes and develop lessons learnt to avoid reoccurrence and save life. Illustration of the incident is very important in my opinion and however we add commented photos won't reflect the instant where the problem happened.
Looking forward for your feedback and thanks for helping others to save life / property / environment.
Note: the target creat animation using human character, equipment, cranes, platform, workboat / barges, Riggs, etc....

There really aren't any. At the moment, you can only find stock GIFs on VideoPlasty: videoplasty.com/stock-gifs
use giphy.com/ and copy gifs (right click copy, not save) to your powerpoint

Good video. Perhaps back in 2019 you couldn’t use a Mac to export to video but I’ve been able to do that since at least March 2020
