THE CHANNEL:
This channel is about Kerbal Space Program and can consist of SSTO building tutorials and rocket building tutorials. Some times the videos contain bad language and adult humor but on a low level. In these videos no planet is safe as we can explore space together by landing on places like Duna and Jool and build large Duna colonies or orbital space stations. Also, Interplanetary SSTO builds seem to be a hot topic in the KSP community so I will be touching on those as well. I also build SSRT space craft. These are fun to build and easy to fly! Warships or space warships are one of my favorite things to make. Stock weapons can be very challenging and so when building them over time , you get to see the evolution of the designs. Same thing with the Warships. They get better and better with each new design.
Now , I know it's considered cheating but Kraken drives are a fun way to put things like warp drive ( like in Star Trek ) and or hyper drives ( like in Star Wars ) in your Kerbal space program game. These game mechanic loopholes are fun to figure out as you find out how they work and how to incorporate them into your star ship design.
Everything from Outposts on far away moons and Mining Stations around asteroids and comets, you name it I've ether built it or it's on my to do list! I still haven't really explored things like building SpaceX starship or any of the NASA spacecraft, and I think that's because it been done to many times. Recreations of spacecraft can be found almost everywhere on CZcams now and so making yet another one seem redundant. Only if the spacecraft recreation is of one that I loved as a kid will I even attempt to build it. Like the Apollo Moon Lander, or the whole Apollo rocket! Now that rocket was cool!
Many people have ask me if I'm ever going to wear my Mandalorian helmet ever again for my videos. And , yes. when the time is right, and I get a new wabcam, I will be dawning the helmet once more!

I have to say out of all the ksp creators markus house and vaos are the only ones i really watched and the design aesthetics of your various spacecrafts is really appealing to me...
90% of my gameplay is building and testing...😂
I get pictures of my favorite BANDS and make flags. And other things like warning signs. Warning Jeb at controls. ect... As can see my avatar is Iron Maiden. Best band ever.
First off, love the video VAOS! It's incredibly informative and really helpful. Just wish I could do custom flags in KSP Console Edition. 😂 I'm making like a big Star Trek thing and I really wish I could have the registries for the ships. I wanna move over to PC KSP but I have a potato PC 😂 Hopefully though, the video will come out on April 5th (iykyk Trekkies 🖖🏻)

hmm, I wonder what the size limit is, I recently made 1920x1080 flags for a video (maybe 2560 ? I would have to double check), but 1080p for sure, since I needed high res textures for a custom house.
Maybe because you did put them in the flag folder in the Squad folder ? I set mines in a folder named "Flags" in my mod folder, as other mods do..

I've always done mine in 512x256 I know that's a bit low but I've never had issues with them looking grainy or anything
@@kookie_krumbs Neither me, the case above was very specific, I needed large tweakscale flags to put on big structural panels, for making a detailled house, for a cinematic video... : )
I used DBZ's Nappa doing his "success kid" pose for my space agency Nappa Corp.
This finally gave me the push I needed to try and create a flag. I also just discovered that my relatively new laptop doesn’t have Paint 3D just paint. But that’s ok I’m not trying to do anything fancy.
I did. Create a blank template 512x256 I use that to apply one of the three basic colors from the flag menu. I also found a png file in the KSP game folder called metallic. That basically gives a grey panel. I found a file that has tiles and I’m trying to figure out how to make that into a flag so I can plate the underside of my space planes with black tiles.
I’ll get to an actual flag eventually , maybe a stripe or something to make my rocket go faster. Baby steps.

I like to make my own mod folder and have a "Flags" folder inside of that, so I don't need to change the original game files

I don't have Paint 3D on my computer. It's a different brand than yours, because I'm writing to you from the 1980s. I think the salesperson called it a... um... "personal" computer, but I have to share it with my entire family. They said it could paint colors, but only if I buy the... um... "peripheral", but it's plugged into our black-and-white TV so that would be silly. So when I load and run "paint", I make transparent backgrounds by first clicking on the tool that looks like a pink pearl eraser, then tediously wiping it across the entire screen. I always miss a few pixels, and they show up in the end result, but nobody seems to mind. Then I "save" the image to a casette tape, get on my bike and take it back to the computer store where the salesperson prints it out for me in just minutes. Then I use scotch tape to tape the flag onto my rocket, which I carefully launch only from a safe location like a large empty field of dry weeds or the school yard.
When I finish dieing from laughter . . .
VAOS doesn’t know what a cassette tape is, and wait till he finds out that DVDs used to be twice the size of dinner plates.
You must be running KSP on an Atari. There was a space station construction and space shuttle flying game we used to play on the Atari’s that were in the computer room in the library. I vaguely remember the game but not the name. That was the only reason we went in there. Well it was also kept very cold for the computers. We were teenagers. You’ll figure it out.
@@coffeeAddict74 Atari? Dude, gross, ohmigawwwd that's like, so 20 minutes ago. My dad is rich, he bought us a personal computer from Apple. Totally rad! Now the whole family shares this one, and the Atari is in a closet. (It's in a pile of other fads like the Star Wars Death Star action figure case and this weird huge brass key thing. We'll probably give them away; they can't possibly be valuable, right?) _Rendezvous_ only works on Apple ][e. Some kid at school was trying to educate me about "gravity turn" but I couldn't get it.

It's kinda the same process! Go in the game folder, find the .craft files and copy it into there.
Master class again
Take the KSP "Minimalist" Flag as a reference to get the good size, open it in Paint 3D, erase the content (white and flag shades) and put anything you want, rename it and save.

hi in a video you talked about a ship made by an other youtuber (i think it was somthing like maniac panda) where the ship had blueish transparent flag used to make some windows. do you know how to make thoses ?

For Paint 3d just select the whole thing and then you can lower or raise the transparency. this will give you some nice tinted windows for you cool ship 😎

I devised an inventory of 10 crafts (0-9) meant for FreeIVA compatible base construction and tours of the kerbol system
It's a bit on the minimalist side my machine can't simulate too many parts

Do you think you could create a google drive repository that you keep updated with the flags you use? So that if I wanted to use the same flags as you, I would have somewhere to get them all.
Probably not. Years ago, he used to make his crafts available for download. He stopped doing that when an issue came up. Someone took credit for his work on other site platforms. It waa a huge mess and he stopped making crafts available adter tbat.
