I’ve been using this Steelseries Tusq for FPS games like Call of duty warzone. It’s very light and comfortable since it’s an earphone. All my headphones are put into display like the Arctis 5.😂

Might wanna check in the JBL Quantum 50’s as well. Great mic, but the earbuds have much better sound quality!
@@BaxTechYT Hmm, perhaps the sound quality improves after some EQ? Definitely considering the JBLs as they're a dedicated audio brand
Possibly, but the driver size would be hard to greatly adjust with EQ
@@BaxTechYT so if mic , audio and confort is the main thing, JBL would still fare better than Steelseries Tusq, despite it having a boom mic?

I’m taking HyperX back because the weirdly shaped ear bud design doesn’t sit in my ear. I had battle buds before which lasted 1 year before the left ear stopped working. So hoping these are better. Only £25 on Amazon at the moment

Does SteelSeries Tusq has better noise cancelling mic than Turtle Beach Battle Buds In-Ear Gaming Headset?
I have their top of the line arctis nova pro and I use these more, much better for long sessions on the computer than a headset.
Can you say something about their passive noise reduction? I work in a noisy environment and it's important for me.
It is a cardioid mic, so there is a bit of rejection on the backside of the might. I didn't test it in a noisy environment, but most likely it will pickup a fair amount of background noise

I just bought this last week due to this video.
I mainly use this playing Monster Hunter Rise, I'm on PS4 Pro, he's on PS5. According to my friend, it sounded ok, sounded clear.
What I was worried about was the electric fan noise beside me but he said, it was fine at his end...
I have the nintendo switch earbuds and was looking for a slightly better mic quality. Actually, I am using them on my job because I hate to wear over or on ears everyday from 9 to 5. Though, the SteelSeries Tusq aren't too bad, I'll keep mine for now

AFAIK this is the only Over-Ear Gaming IEM in the market, the rest of the Over-Ears are non-Gaming labeled...

You could for sure use them for work! Just be aware that the sound you hear will have some pretty heavy bass

On PS5, the microphone sounds average, like any other in-ear headset with an integrated microphone. Always a bit muffled. I also tried it with a friend, letting him hear my voice with the boom microphone and the integrated one-very little difference, and actually, the integrated one sounded slightly better. Can anyone confirm? Apparently, it's only that good on PC...

Honestly comfort and audio I think are WAY better on these! But you can find the battlebuds for super cheap now

It doesn't say that it has noise-canceling included.
It doesn't have active noise cancelation, but any headset can have passive noise cancelation, meaning the materials used aid in blocking out sound

They’re fine, I just think the bass is a little too boomy IMO. To use it on the iPad, you’ll need a USB c to aux adapter. You can find them pretty cheap
