The kid is defeintley going to be a superstar I have never believed in a player more from Jamaica than him . I never felt that way about bailey or sterling but whisper just feels differnet like he going to usain bolt of football for Jamaica.
Wow it’s funny you say that. I was just thinking the same thing today about him being the Usain Bolt of football. He is a phenomenal player. He will garner a lot of attention when he plays in the prem. The fearlessness and confidence is off the charts.
He signed for the 1st team not the u21 also trust the coaching staff Whisper only at about 80-85% they want him at least 90% to prevent injuries the prim is very demanding

Whisper good scorer however he may lack in other areas of the game. Must remember first team football is much different from u21. Chelsea staff know what they’re doing with Whisper, like you said he’s only been at Chelsea since Jan. Whisper has got time so don’t rush him. I’ve so many players mash it up at u21 level but struggle to step up to first team football!!
Fair enough. His stats at u21 is very good though. With his current trajectory he likely would have the most goal at u21 was he to have start the season last year. But he has time. I agree with you to an extent but I just would like to see him get 15 - 20 minutes of first team football twice before the season is over. We have said he wasn’t ready before but look at him now.

@@tyronethesungod4606 It makes me wonder what else they think he needs to do for them to think he is ready. The other academy player Gilchrist scored on his first team debut and Whisper has been performing better than most in that u21 team.

But chelsea is one of the hardest clubs to strike for in terms of pressure and expectations grown men come here and cant cope so why rush whisper?.

@@chevongivans2760 Are you saying Kaheem Dixon and Whisper Richards is on the same level right now? I wouldn’t agree with that. If you had a choice of playing both players in the EPL you think Dixon would perform equally as Whisper today? I don’t think so. In the video I said that Whisper needs 15 minutes in the prem twice before the season is over given Chelsea’s injury crisis and that they are using academy players to fill those spots. I then said they should bring him on summer tour and have him play (where I think he will perform) and then even after that place him on the bench for the first team. I just think he is a better player than the average Chelsea academy player.
