actually it's quite normal to have pops of color in Scandinavia , the very light color palette is just one style and you mostly see that where a single romantic woman lives, the most typical way of using color is in art, but some people have colorful sofas or chairs or the rug-you can also have colorful walls , they don't have to be white although that is popular-all colors of woods are used-you even show pictures of medium colored wood floors , typical is : wood, cotton, leather, no or little window dressing, non formal style, mixing old and new, clean lines, lots of different lighting fixtures and very often mixing mid century modern style with contemporary, natural plants -and black is also quite popular

It's nice but still too much clutter. Less is more. No pictures on the walls and have less cushions.
