  • If you are paying $1000 or even close to $2000 for a new phone, don't you want the best cameras? Samsung has a few flagship options with the Galaxy S23 Ultra along with the zFold and zFlip foldables. While they all sell for flagship prices, not all of them have flagship cameras. Of course the form factor of the zFlip and zFold devices outweigh the camera setbacks, but just how bad are those cameras?
In this video we will compare pictures taken with all 3 devices and pixel peep at some examples in lightroom. Then I will go over the best camera settings, including some hidden settings to capture the best quality photos and make the most of a subpar camera system.

You should definitely look into the new settings on the s23 ultra that has processing and capture speed options merged into 1 as well as a 2x zoom option that crops into the main 200MP lens.

Yeah I think those updates came from the original camera assistant app! I have to try to do more testing to see how it improved. Have you found it to be much better?

@@azvisuals I havent noticed much difference personally on the quality but its because I havent taken much pictures either lol. Though I love how I can have maximum processing without scene optimizer now. The 2x lens is good though since its cropping on 200MP lens.

You mentioned a grid that helps build a composition. I recently read an article where it was said that a 3/3 grid is nonsense and great artists did not use it, but used a golden ratio. How do you feel about the grid?

Hey Alex, about what you said at 9:30... Picture softening set to "Off" is actually what's digitally sharpening the image. If you want an image without any post processing, you should set it to high.
When you say you can soften it in post, what you'll end up with is an image that's been sharpened and then softened, and ruin the quality completely. Set it to "High" and sharpen it later if you need to.
    Great video nonetheless.

Hi. If picture softening is set to 'off', does that mean the image can be 'noisy' , and grainy?. Tp be honest im not happy with the image quality of the samsung galaxy s23 ultra. Iv done a tonne of research into why the images are clear.

@@kattwomin Sort of, yes. I also wasn't happy with image quality on this phone. Setting the option to "high" made the photos look much more natural and I like them now. If you like SOME sharpening I recommend "medium" option, never "off" (i.e. full sharpening)

@Ulysses182 thanks for your reply. I tried images with PS set to HIGH, and the images have more detail. I never new that about picture softening, so thanks very much again.

Im so disappointed with the S23 Ultra camera compared to my pixel 6 pro.
Its only decent in very good lighting conditions or on a tripod with non moving subjects..

What happened to your POV Street Photography lately with a real Camera NOT with Smartphones?? Did you stop doing it and focus on promoting Smartphones products nowadays? I don't care of smartphones promoting marketing...
