The conversation between Theo and Steve about his "Hill House" book is interesting. Theo says Steve made a couple mistakes and corrects Steve's account when says she found the [entrance to the?] basement and then she remarks on Steve knowing so much about what happened even though he slept through most of [all the events?] Is Theo implying Steve knows more than he admits to? and/or that Steve has some sort of psychic ability akin to her own? We know Steve sees ghosts but refuses to admit they are ghosts, preferring to ascribe it to his "mental illness." Steve is in denial about a lot of things.
Some good points here! This show is always throwing more questions out and the answers by this point are so few, loving that it keeps us guessing about what's really going on!!! 😁
No, she was being sarcastic. The reason she was remarking Steve was because he took their stores and made them his, which is why all of the siblings dislike him because he dismisses and doesn't believe them. So even though she resents Steve for stealing their stores, she doesn't mind because of the money.

@@user-bl5yi4uw6jit's wasn't beating a dead horse because it's was early on when the book was first released and plus how would Theo know? She had her gloves on.
