Makes me sad. I loved Mariota. Wanted it to work for him. You don't find character like Mariota in the NFL very often. He was never quite the same after the injuries.
Titans had their franchise QB, but inconsistencies in coaching and mounting injuries just wore him down. By 2019 he was just a shell of his former self. People continue to hate on him but, he has never been in an offense that suited his skill set. Hopefully Arthur Smith is able to use the MM that everyone thought he could be.
He is such an amazing QB. As an Oregon fan it makes me extremely happy to see how well he's doing in the NFL.
I'm a Ducks fan and also a Titans fan. You can't believe the stress i went through leading up to the draft hoping that my Titans would take him! I am also glad to see him play for us and watch him progress.
After 4 weeks I just now saw this video. And as a hardcore Tennessee Titans fan I just wanna say this is the best Mariota video I've ever seen. You didn't just get game highlights you got everything, even the offseason, and I've rarely seen that. Again I just wanna say amazing video and keep up the good work!

I appreciate that. I put some time into this. He was my favorite QB that played on one of my favorite college teams and he got drafted by my favorite NFL team. It just all came full circle. A great guy to represent the franchise.

Thank you Hawaii and Oregon for Mariota. Sincerely, Happy Titans Fan. I absolutely love the fact that he lets his play do his talking and he proves you don't have to be a loud mouth to be a leader. But without a doubt my favorite thing about him is he doesn't feel the need to do some stupid dance/celebration every time he scores or makes a big play (e.g. Cam Newton).
We, as fans, couldn't have asked for a better guy. Don't get me wrong. I love the entertainment value of a Cam Newton. But as a Titans fan I love having a quiet, no nonsense leader we can rely on being there on the field every week. We aren't worried from week to week about what he's going to do off the field. He's just going to score TD's, tap the chest three times, and go out the next drive and do it all again.
Titans are on the rise. The 2016 season is unpredictable. I think they have a shot at shocking a lot of people.
They have a good talented core group of players. Made some good additions in free agency and the draft. They could make some noise this next year and going forward to the seasons after that.

Yeah. I don't think it will happen overnight but they have put some good young talent around him. Also another year with Lebeau running the defense could mean less stress for the offense to put up points.
Remigio Kennedy The Titans defense was top ten most of the year, but finished 12th, which isn't bad for a 3-13 team. Plus Ray Horton was making the calls last season. Dick Lebeau had no say in anything.
+Dylan Cannon 27th in PPG. They were 12th in yards but if you give up over 26 PPG it doesn't matter. And 7-9 isn't happening. A couple more years maybe above .500 but they need receivers, defensive backs, and a better coach. None of their current receivers could start on any other AFC South teams. Neither could their defensive backs for the most part.

Great rookie season, no doubt, even considering the games he missed due to injury. Hard worker, student of the game, and possesses the physical tools to succeed in the league. His future success depends on the Titans' ability to surround him with offensive weapons and a line that doesn't leak like a paper towel. Mariota is not a one trick pony - this last year showed that he can make good decisions in the pocket and that he's more than just the typical spread option college QB that makes one read and takes off. Looking forward to seeing Tennessee acquire pieces that will enable him to really shine.
The pieces we got in the draft and free agency will definitely help. Excited for next season.

Raiders fan here. Kid looked great at some points last season. His intelligence alone gives me confidence that he can be a good QB in this league. My only worry I that coaching staff...yikes. They better not fuck up his development.
I can respect a fan of another team giving props to other players. I think the staff and Jon Robinson have done a lot of things to help him. They've gone out and added some good pieces to put around him.
I'm a fan of Carolina and I don't watch many Tennessee games. But I came away impressed with his performance against Carolina and the best linebacking core in the league. Hey neighbors!
All i can think about is our linebacking core not appreciating the performance Cam put on them in the end zone. Haha. Just dancing on em!

That play action/throw at 9:35 is nuts! I thought for sure it was a run at first then all of a sudden he basically flicks the ball out of his arm and rockets the ball 15 yards in like a 1/4 of a second like it was nothing. That's a hell of an arm.

Dude!!! Right!? I was at that game and just remember being confused on who had the ball and it just zipped to Wright and he outran the defense. Watching the Bucs fans sitting there stunned was the best!!

His stats would've blown Jameis out of the water had he played the whole season, 4 games missed. And they didn't have to deal with that sticky RB and WR situation like we did last year. They have studs there.
Dude!! I know!! I was keeping track all year! He also missed 3/4 of the game against the Pats. Essentially five games missed. He was definitely on track to beat the rookie record for touchdown passes. I was so pissed he couldn't stay healthy.

I was at the stadium in Tampa Bay when Mariota shredded them in week 1 of the 2015 season. The Bucs fans were all saying they drafted the wrong QB lol. I think Winston has made huge leaps in his progress, but I still like Mariota better.
I was at that game too and I heard the exact same thing. Buc fans around me were saying they drafted the wrong quarterback! I will always support Marcus Mariota, he's a great kid! I'm pulling for him. He is special!

Im definitely optimistic looking forward. After the seasons we've had recently, its nice to be on some sort of an upswing.
