In this session, Dr. Amber Khan discussed the unique challenges of delivering mental health services to populations who have been traditionally marginalized, due to race, ethnicity, or immigration status. She outlined the ways providers can become more culturally sensitive to the particular needs of those who seek services coming with cultural, financial, and language barriers.
