I used to think kyeongwan is just a fool for his wife. But damn, he dropped outta high school, study abroad, joined Air Force, still managed to join as announcer for KBS, and somehow managed to become a great father and great husband.

Studying abroad means his family was fairly wealthy actually. Lol not trying to put him down as his determination obviously won him a successful career at KBS. What I mean is that he had time to fool around "finding himself" because his family was wealthier.
An average or poor person in Korea wouldn't be able to study abroad after dropping out of school, and they wouldn't have many career options without school qualifications either.
Btw I'm an East Asian who studied abroad too and had the luxury of bumming around multiple career paths before finding my chosen career. So I'm not hating, just pointing out reality.
