Or just help ensure Matt stays at least 1 more season. There's not many clubs he'll currently be targeted by that'll be able to give him Champions League football next season, and it's the 1st season of the new format. As a top Celt he'll be a 'shoe in' (cert) to play all 8 league games at least. If he has a solid season with Celtic and gets more advertising by being in the Champs League, the offers he'lll then get will be from far bigger clubs (than if he were to go this summer). Also, he should take heed of what happened to Jota last season. His move was clearly a huge mistake. Jota went way too soon from Celtic.
@@Spirit-Of-The-Age Agreed, its obvious that Celtic can offer him what alot of other clubs cannot. I think its as much the clubs decision though and I wont be surprised if we cash in now. Would love to see him in hoops for another year atleast, its a shame that we are in that position, I also believe our position can shift
