- Hey guys! I've partnered with Benefit Cosmetics for this video, using their brand new POREfessional Hydrate Primer! I wanted to test this hydrating primer by pairing it with a more full coverage powdered base, and I LOVE how this looked and wore! It's infused with Hyaluronic Acid (which I love) and Shea Butter. So it's meant to hydrate the skin for 12 hours but also fill in pores and smooth lines - a bonus!

Tips for all my dry skin folks: Never do makeup without moisturize or something that makes your skin slippery/moisturizing. Less is also better because dryness will always be prominent and noticeable from up close. (That’s if you layer makeup) Never bake unless you want texture to be the first thing people notice, only a light dusting of powder will do the trick. Trust me y’all, baking is beautiful for the camera, in real life it will NEVER look that good. I promise you on that. Also use foundations or BB creams that have some slight moisture to it, do not get a pure matte foundation as this will make your skin texture appear even worse. Set your makeup with setting spray to give your face some hydration. and use gloss or lip balm if your lips are dry as well, no matte lipstick please
