- Twas the day before Christmas and all that... So I had to get out.
It seems I have to get out a lot these days.
Cut myself shaving and it got infected, the spot on my face that is. Healing nicely but looks bad on camera!

I love Avebury. Always feels like it has more about it than Stonehenge. There’s something about the village being in amongst it. Continuity maybe, dunno. And the big stones are way more impressive, plus the hilly countryside around is awesome.
Thanks for all your vids this year. I’m just finding my feet with CZcams but am learning a lot from people such as yourself. I’ve always liked walking but the idea of having a purpose to it and a story to tell with the video seems good to me.

I love Avebury. There was, many years back, a very nice woman who ran the gift shop there. She was quite the expert on all the local crop circles; we had quite a discussion about it for a few hours in the afternoon and early evening in a pub there.
I've seen a few crop circles myself Gary. All very interesting

Yes indeed Si, Desmond has pushed the boat out,they are a nice couple. Very easy going. As for the relics..It's history and quite the epicentre for some reason. There is a stone tablet in the local museum that alludes to a saviour arriving in Wiltshire around the second millenium. It says he conquers the hills on an Iron horse and goes to the moors of the far West where few dare to travel due to the nature of the queer folk in those parts.
The tablet goes onto say that many a time his adventures where Jinxed but he remained resolute and produced a video for all to see:)

Thanks for that video of your trip out. Nice to see you enjoying yourself's and with wife and doggit and with your friends. Camera work was good compared with a lot of other tubers. Hope you got dried out soon after you got back. Radio rig was nicely set up for tickling the aether as well as easy access to operate and I hope he was getting some peeps messaging OK. If you got the internet up Sandy you should be able to follow what Dave is doing on your PC ( real time on the "Bulletin Board" i am thinking? ) Interesting stuff to me anyway. I am on the idea you would have to have a special card fitted into the PC, or can you take the feed direct from a radio?

I'm thinking about buying a new drone too. Mavic Pro I think. I'm also hopefully going to get me old bike serviced in the new year so if you here a loud Harley Outside your house you will know who it is lol.

Merry Christmas Sandy, I can recommend the NC500, I did it anti-clockwise on my Triumph, you might need to take some midge repellent though.

I’m going to Scotland in April on the bike to do the NC500, my first trip on the GS Adventure.
Flying a Paramotor looks incredible albeit quite scary I should imagine.
You've got a few more horses than me with your GS. The Himalayan isn't a fast bike but I do like it's 80mpg
