- Drivelapse video of Texas Highway 288 North. This video showcases the highway after the Express Toll Lanes of 288 had opened to traffic in the median of the freeway. TX-288 heads northerly and ends in Downtown Houston. The video then follows I-610 around the northern edge of Downtown before following US-290 westerly through to west of the Grand Parkway Interchange.
A lot of nice freeways to drive on, if only it wasn't so gloomy on that day. I enjoyed the soundtrack. Congratulations on 6K subscribers!
I really enjoyed this one, probably one of my favourite videos from you so far! I really like these vids where you cut across a metropolitan area (your night-time Atlanta vid is probably still my fav of all time). Some real impressive interchanges especially the ones with the I-610 and the Sam Houston, which I've come to expect from Texas. Though given how much Texas loves freeways I'm suprised there's no Interstate between Houston and Austin (you'd think US-290 doesn't quite cut it).

TxDOT had done a great job on US 290 freeway. I'd taken I-10 & TX 71 to go to Austin and I do say, nice scenery along TX 71.
Great drive! Did you know you can literally just pay a fraction of the toll in India than Highway 407 toll in Ontario? Here's the toll rate of selected expressways in India:
Agra-Lucknow Expressway at 302 kilometers for the whole length: 600 Indian rupees (9.91 Canadian dollars)
Purvanchal Expressway at 340.9 kilometers for the whole length: 675 Indian rupees (11.15 Canadian dollars)
Yamuna Expressway at 165 kilometers long for the whole length: 665 Indian rupees (10.98 Canadian dollars)

Love the new Houston video from you, man! And yea, this freeway has changed a lot, although I don't think the left lane exits benefits. And also, thank you for showing me the completed US-290.
Nice to have another southern Texas video for easter. I honestly had a hard week on my side. Firstly, I got sick on the 1st if April 🙄 & I got a lot of exams this week as well. At least, the easter weekend is here to relax my brain.
Also, did you know that on southern Quebec, we had a strong freeze rain that caused serious Power outrage there? It’s also considered as the worst freeze rain since 1998, that I’m sure everyone remember this. I heard there also had about 1M power outrages, including a bit less that half un the region of Montreal. In some sectors, the power might come back only at the end of easter weekend. A man also died from this. Actually what happened is that a tree branch broke & fell on him. His neighbors called the ambulance, but he was pronounced dead at their arrival. I’m from Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean, it didn’t really touch my aera. I’m informed of this, bc I heard this on the news.
Now, on some good news the temperature should arrive at the normal at Sunday, so, a bit more patience left until this. Also, if you wonder what good to listen for this easter, I definitely reccomend the super Mario movie that I teased on your I-35W video in Minneapolis. It’s now out in theathers 😀!

@@AsphaltPlanet1 Also, small update, I heard another another storm-related death on the news recently. Actually, he died from carbon monoxide by turning on a generator & putting it in his garage. His death has been confirmed at St-Eustache hospital.

When are you going to do I-70 from Denver up the Rockies? I hear it's an unforgettable scenery.
I have driven I-70 and found it to be very beautiful, I don’t have any plans to film it at this time however
