15:27 I was on a climbing trip in las vegas when (im guessing) this was recorded and it got up to 120 degrees in the desert, breaking the previous heat record set in 1931. Needless to say daytime sessions weren't an option lol.
@@channingtryshard at least in the desert it’s dry. Idk where you are but I live in Indiana and because of the humidity 85 degrees there feels like 100 or so in Vegas lol
@@yann_mrl1556 thanks man. and yeah i have a couple in mind but im mostly just gonna try out some boulders in NC and see what gets me the most stoked. gonna try to go with the flow this coming season
when youve sent your v12 i think a free solo challenge would be good like a v grade equivelent of el cap and do it 1500 times id love to see how someone as insanely strong as you fares against alex honnald would make for a reallly interesting video though i think
@@fpswreck538 definitely an interesting video idea! the gym i climb at also has walls up to 85ft tall so that would be pretty doable! only problem is my endurance is pretty trash at the moment 😂
man the problems at that gym looks stiff. hard to tell from video of course, but based on your climbing, you seem to be climbing much stronger than your hangboarding suggests. i can one arm hang the 20mm, but my max is around v9/v10. did 1 v11 on kilterboard, but it wasn't finger'y'.
@@MrWhoabuddy Yeah i actually set the problems and i prefer them be on the harder end for the grade! and also my current one arm pr on the hangboard is +15lbs on a 20mm but the hangs i do in this video are a little different. i have 5lbs removed from my bodyweight via a pulley system and i am holding 5lbs so it evens out, but it tends to be a little harder because it requires from shoulder strength and mobility.
@@channingtryshard I think you have really strong body tension. it looks like you're really doing a lot with your legs which is something i struggle with as a taller climber. inspiring to watch you train. keep it up!
The grind doesn’t stop
@@madisunny23 it stops when i have 2% of your strength

@@ethandoades yeah its very very humid in south carolina
Honestly enjoyed the voiceover, would be cool to mix it in occasionally if you wanted to ramble about different things.

Wowww you really gave it all. Have you already picked the outdoor v12 you wanna try or are you gonna choose it when you are ready ?
