He really has struggled to express his feelings in the past, for him to tell Robert how much he loves him in front of everyone is such a big step. Rober's love really has made him so much stronger and they have both come a long way in accepting who they are and the fact that they love who they love and are so happy with each other
Oh Paddy, I wish little Aaron could've seen his future as well. He was so overwhelmingly depressed and ashamed, and I always adored how much Paddy was always there for him, trying to make him realize that something like this - being proud to marry the man that he loves in front of everyone - was even possible. Beautiful speech and beautiful father/son relationship.
If only, how great would it be if we could all to that when we are in a dark place, look into the future and see that it does gett better and that we get to be happy.
