    Flipping around these videos on the 3.6 just yanked the heads and it's been awhile, just quick reviewing and then I heard Alex Jones on radio. Hell yeah.

      @@Reddiggler i got the same code as you on my 2014 jk but my engine have run about 60 miles with the timming chain misalignement do you think i can only change my timming chain and everything gonna be fine or my cylinder head and my piston top will be damaged?

      @Reddiggler  Před 4 lety

      @@bigjayce6960 at first the dealer ran a diagnosis and told me timing was off less then -10 degrees with most likely was chain stretching. Dealer also said if it was more than 10°, it wouldn't drive properly.

    Damn, impressive! Just wondering what kind of day it was for you to do that outside? Must have been some nice weather. F doing that in the winter or summer.

    Nice, informative video. For a timing cover seal replacement, should be even easier. I thought you had to remove the oil pan? are you experiencing any leaks from upper oil pan since?

    • @Reddiggler
      @Reddiggler  Před 4 lety

      No leaks, take off the bolts on oil pan that contact timing cover area.

    • @mattdovi2255
      @mattdovi2255 Před 4 lety +1

      The Haynes manual says to but you don’t. There are 5 bolts you need to take off on the upper oil pan. It’s the 5 closest to the front.

    Just bought a 2012 Wrangler 6sp manual. Timing chain jumped 2 teeth. Been two weeks, guy says he "got it fixed" but now some other code popped up. Total nightmare.

    Maybe too much hp/torque with the RIPP addition. Maybe ur oil is too light? COI should be 3k with RIPP. These motor only love fresh oil. Interesting case. It just seems like very low mileage for timing chain failure. Nice video

    Are the tensioners supposed to get sucked in and out when you rotate the engine? I see them moving wouldn’t it lose tension that way?
