It’s crazy how similar to black men, Asian men have no issue dating every ethnicity. But the women seem to mostly date within their own ethnic group, and aren’t as into dating non Asians (black women are the same way statistically).
There is that movie stereotype of them being into white men, but the % that actually ventured out to settle with white, black, Hispanic men is extremely low. My guess is this is rooted in psychology. Women are FAR more susceptible to peer pressure, and caring what peers and family think. It’s a shame, because I think when we expand our dating options our % of finding a fantastic match go up.
Culturally Vietnamese actually have a lot in common with Latin culture in terms of family dynamic, yet seeing a Vietnamese girl with a Latin guy would be a unicorn couple. Very interesting stuff.
Latin culture is more romantic and seductive. Vietnamese and Asian cultures in general are more rigid and cerebral. A good mix however would be possibly Filipino culture and Latin culture. Spain rub off on the Phillipines so it could work not to mention the catholic values.
