Have you ever wondered what happens at Impact, the moment when the clubface meets the ball? Well, here is a short video compliation that might help? We hope you enjoy Impact: The Moment of Truth.
What I find most interesting: (1) how high up on the driver head they hit the ball (2) how little time the ball spends on the wedge. Almost looks like half the club head is redundant.
I learned more about the correct path of the golf club from this video than from years of instructions on how to swing the club. Masterful video, thanks.
Its not obvious for people how a golf ball should be struck. This helps with striking so much, I think it is very odd that videos like this are so hard to find.
Thank you for this. I think the visualization will help me as I can see it in my head now how the impacts should look. Doesn't mean i won't lose a ball a hole but I might not:)
I've been practicing for a solid impact with irons, but I've been struggling with short irons. According to this video, it looks like the sole of the wedge is structurally unavoidable to make contact with the turf before hitting the ball.I was relieved.
Looks to me, that 1. no Driver in this video is hitting the ball with a positive angel of attack, 2. the Bounce of an iron has no effect before impact and 3. Spin is mainly generated because the ball is hit below its center of mass
I had this vision of hitting the ball first and then the turf. That's what they say. It's causing me to hit the ball thin and make the tops. On this video we can see how the irons really hit the ball.
Wish there was no background music. A pure impact sound will be a better music to my ears. If you create that sound then you know you have a sound swing

That is so very helpful. Every golf teacher should show this video first.

Bud Ross I agree. I always thought the divot came from under the ball. It all happens so fast.
Ur never gonna be good. Give it up
this really helps with visual learners how the impact should look
Yeah forsure! I just try to imagine my club coming in from these angles, and it made me strike 100% better!
Totaly agree with you because ago 3 years i play golf and i do not yet know how the golf clubs physics work ! Thanks you to the editor of this video.

So satisfying to see the divots after the ball! Something I'm trying to get better at!

Luv it… really made an impact!
Awesome!
Trevino talks about compressing the ball against the turf with the club head. This video shows that's virtually impossible.
Very nice video.
wonderful, reasonable video
I really hate unreasonable videos bro
Woooww amazing
Nice!

Yep it’s the bounce built into the sole

Einstein should have played golf Imagine what he'd say about the game.
It’s the camera angle I guess but doesn’t it seem like the ball position is way back towards the trail foot in many of these (including long iron)?
Nice video but I tend to hit the ground a lot before I hit the ball lol.

얼마나 세면 공이 찌그려지냐
3:35 obviously John Daly
The putter was interesting
LMAO pause the video at 2:32
wow im an idiot
Must watch, but in mute
This video is filth.....in a good way! 👍👍. So sick how these guys just always hit the ball so pure and smack in the middle of the club face! 👊🏻

Truly proves hitting down on ball is incorrect. Leading edge of club is skimming along ground prior to Impact. Variable is club and degree of loft.
