4:52 Actually, Bowser is a main party member, just like the rest of the cast shown here (alongside Ninji). Not only do we see him playing in multiple side modes within the trailer, but it is also confirmed that you can play as Bowser on both the "King Bowser's Keep" and "Mario's Rainbow Castle" boards. If you zoom in to the starting area of both of those boards, one of the characters about to start the party is Bowser, even despite a larger Bowser being a main board gimic at the same time. So, it is clear that 2 Bowsers can be on screen at once.
If you look at the non-player bowsers, you’ll notice that they have some of Kamek’s PlayStation Button magic surrounding it, which likely means the board bowsers are manifestations of Kamek.

Bowser has been a playable character since the 2018 release of Super Mario Party.
Now Bowser returns in Super Mario Party Jamboree along with Bowser Jr Spike from Mario Party 10 also makes a return along with other characters.
I’m hyped for Super Mario Party Jamboree coming out in October later this year.

I’d call Boo one of the main cast by now not just in Mario party but Mario spin off in general he’s most often (besides Mario kart) playable alongside all the big names and I love it he’s one of the core gang in the franchise to me. Boo is awesome!

4:52 Umm, Bowser can be both playable and as an NPC. The reveal trailer confirms that the player as Bowser is playable on both King Bowser's Keep and Mario's Rainbow Castle at the starting area of both boards. You'll noticed that purple aura on the NPC version of Bowser which helps differentiate the two.
If Mario Party adds non-Mario characters, in the future it'll be like in the Mario Kart series, where it gets so many characters from other Nintendo universes that it deserves being renamed as "Nintendo Kart"

I for one am hoping for Dry Bones, Pauline, Blooper, and Diddy Kong. Would love to see Luma, The Sprixies, and Prince Florian as characters.

honestly, out of every characters said in this video, i think i love Anthasma the most. first the Mario and Luigi series is making a come back so it's fitting in terms of timing, and since there seems to be a VS. bowser mode in the trailer, i think it'd be cool to unlock an antagonist from another game. and honestly, i just think it'd be cool. plus he has a sick design.

The passion of how much you want her is impressive (I've seen your comments on Nintendo's, GameXplain, Swiftjar's, and now Nin10Land's video). While the passion of wanting Pauline is remarkable, I can't approve of how people wanting Pauline are acting. You and others wish for her to be playable with Peach, Daisy, and Rosalina to have a full girls' party; I understand that, but shutting down other fan favorites like Toadette and Birdo isn't okay. I take it even further; I've seen people shut down from adding other characters from Super Mario Odyssey in favor of it just being Pauline. Pauline, after Odyssey, made a good impression, and that's notable to me. However, the people who want her must take their behavior down a notch because shutting down and chastizing everyone else who isn't Pauline isn't cool.
@@theoneandonlysplashstar I love Toadette & Birdo as characters lol They are probably my second favorite type of characters after Peach, Daisy, Rosalina & Pauline. I’m just saying that Toadette & Birdo aren’t the same TYPE of characters as the human princess/ruler characters like for example a Peach or a Pauline. See: I would love Pom Pom & Wendy for Birdo & Toadette but I want Pauline for Rosalina etc because they are the same category of characters. The reason why I love Pauline so much is because I was a huge fan of the character years before Odyssey already when she was only connected to the Mario vs DK games. I always used to draw her & look at fanart with the other Mario girls of her so the fact she’s now part of playable rosters is absolutely surreal to me because before 2017 the Pauline fanbase NEVER could have imagined that she would become a established Mario character one day just like Daisy etc.
@@_frankiefreak_ That's so sweet, and I love the fact that you used to draw her before even her big return in Odyssey. I misread your comment on a previous video, my apologies. However, not you specifically, but others are saying that the game is ruined because Pauline hasn't been shown, which is not okay. I have also seen certain fans shut down any other character from Odyssey in favor of it just being Pauline, which isn't fair to anyone introduced in Odyssey. Pauline is one of the first Nintendo Characters, and it's nice to have her in games, but I do wish we had some more Odyssey representation besides the Metro Kingdom.

I'm not sure we will really get all of those, but the new roster looks really good and exciting so far, and I'm sure, or rather hope, that we have even more characters to it. They might not have shown every character we start with yet, and there will very likely be some goos secret charcters for certain, I think.

Super Mario Party Jamboree seems to have a teams thing going on with Mario's team and Bowser's team. But thinking about it they could have created two other teams a Wario team and a Donkey Kong team and have them pull from their games. in place of Mario and Waluigi for Team Mario is where they could put Geno and Mallow for some RPG rep. As for Team Wario it would be Wario, Waluigi, Captain Syrup, 9-Volt, Mona, Ashley, Jimmy T., Princess Shokora, Queen Merelda. From Team DK it can be Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, Cranky Kong, Dixie Kong, Baby Kong, Funky Kong, Lanky Kong, Tiny Kong, Chunky Kong. That would be a lot of fun if they did that and a good way to give us more characters. By the way the reason for 9 is because if you include Ninji as a part of Team Bowser and subtract DK, Wario and Waluigi from Team Mario those two teams are reduced to two teams of 9. So I went with that number

Well, at least Spike made a return in the trailer of Mario Party Jamboree so far, since his last appearance was in Mario Party 10. Also, at least we got a new character though, which is Ninji who last appeared for the record Mario Golf Super Rush. Other than that, we'll see about that, because I personally wouldn't count on more characters being added for Super Mario Party Jamboree, but I can say for CERTAIN that Nintendo would be willing to expand the roster if they are in a mood for it.

I remember distinctly on the “Boo’s horror castle” board in Mario Party 9 there’s an event space near the end of the board where a Scaredy Rat steals the ministars from all the players and begins an escape down a corridor, tasking the players to catch up and steal their stuff back
The rat had full dice hitting and space moving animations, despite the fact that 9 was one of the Party games with the car
Ever since then I’ve held out hope that the Scaredy Rat would someday be playable in something

I think we should simply get a Mario Party dedicated to the crossover aspect rather than it being shoehorned into Jamboree. I'd call it "Mario Party All-Stars" where we get the Superstars roster along with some Zelda, Kirby, Animal Crossing, and Splatoon Characters. Each series gets their own board except Mario which gets two.
I would love to play as MC Ballyhoo or see him return as the host so we could play Kamek, either way he needs to return his energy was amazing

Seria perfeito se Super Mario Party Jamboree tivesse um grande elenco de personagens, gostaria muito de ver um retorno do Koopa Kid, Blooper e Kamek no jogo (Mesmo que o último seja improvável). Adoraria ver personagens de Super Mario RPG, Paper Mario, Mario & Luigi, as versões Rabbids dos personagens,os Babys, Wario Ware, a família Kong, e até alguns personagens convidados. 4:52 - I think it's too early to say that Bowser isn't a party character. There seems to be some evidence that he is (one of the screen shots seems to show him on a board, although it's blurry) , and I have yet to see evidence that he isn't.
I think this needs to be said there need to be more protagonist characters introduced in the mario series besides cappy its been almost 20 years since we had a new character
I feel like now more than ever is the best time to get more experimental and interesting with Mario game rosters. The RPGs are making a comeback, the games and even the Mario movie have all sorts of refs to more obscure characters, and 1 or 2 guest characters I could handle as a way to show love to another series.
Although Mario Party is probably the Mario sub-series I expect to drag its feet on more interesting character picks the most lol. This series feels like one of the more smaller scaled and budgeted Mario ones. Reusing a lot of existing models. So I can excuse this one for not being t o o crazy with the picks.
But characters like Pauline, Nabbit, Odyssey NPCs, etc should be more than fair game by now.

I love Kirby but get him out of here. If I want to play as him I'll play a Kirby game. What I like about the Mario Party series is the chance to play as obscure Mario characters that usually never get a chance in the spotlight. Glad to see Ninji getting his Mario Party debut!
Some characters I think would be cool to see are some of the Super Mario Odyssey characters like the Tostarenans or the snails from Bubblaine.
