Okay so for context as to why I am re-uploading these cutscenes, I was simply not satisfied with the original uploads. Back when I recorded the original footage, I used to have a much weaker PC. My PC had to rely on an Intel processor in order to process stuff, and it was too weak to handle 1080p 60FPS. Despite this I had the desire to create the highest quality possible, which in hindsight was a dumb move. Another dumb move was not rendering the videos properly, not adjusting the Computer RGB to Studio RGB correctly, producing that washed out look. My computer however is now a lot more powerful, notably it now relies on a GTX 1080 Ti, far more powerful than the Intel processor. I also switched recording methods, using OBS Studio instead of the default Elgato recording program, with produces more stable results. The only other thing worth mentioning is the upgrade from the Elgato HD60 to Elgato HD60 Pro, though in this case I haven't noticed anything noticeably different that would benefit from features such as the higher Mbps. These reuploads are designed to exploit the changes to my hardware to produce a more stable and clean upload of all the cutscenes from Puyo Puyo Tetris. Please enjoy them.
Fun thing is, Ex is not the first Puyo character his voice actor had given voice to. In the PC-Engine version of the very first Puyo Puyo, he voices Satan.

Having watched both the English and Japanese versions of Schezo's misadventures, and understanding a bit of spoken Japanese, I have to say the English version is waaaaay superior in its execution. Japanese Schezo only has like several dubious statements, and it's more like a statement that can be interpreted in an open way (and one that said character would interpret in the worst way anyway). Japanese Schezo also is both more curt, and more... typical RPG protagonist-ish in his voice and mannerism, which surprises me. Still, with how childish Sig's Japanese voice is, it REEEAAALLY feels creepy when Schezo say (roughly translated) that 'he's going to help himself to Sig's left hand' 2:38:55, so the hentai accusations sure were justified here. English Schezo made it very clear that his dubious statements are unintentional double entendres, and the pompous and loud yet well-meaning voice and mannerism that he showed does soften the creepiness to a humorous level, despite the localization team upping the weirdness factor in how Schezo speaks. The cutscenes are also more well-executed in terms of the over-the-top reactions and counter-reactions, and I really commend the English voice actors for the characters for their performances here.

They often repeat what Arle and Tee say, but replacing every sillable for "Gu" or "Pi", so it had to be changed in English so their dialogues would still reference what was said before.

May just be a bit of a difference in translation. Some of their characteristics are slightly different in each language. Well, maybe not Amite she's pretty much the same. Personally, i think both voices work fine, though I have a slight preference for the jp. As for Ess, she's presented as being a bit younger in jp and often refers to herself in the third person.

I don't think so. The extra minutes could just be because certain words in Japanese are longer than that in English.
Plus, Puyo Puyo's Japanese voices are spoken at a slower pace than Japanese usually is spoken.
