I love Leah, she is amazing and that show is awesome, love it!
That is such a good point Remini is making! If you criticize Scientology you will lose your relationship with any Scientologist. That is part of why Remini stayed in so long- her mother was a true believer. I'm sure JLo does not want to find out if her father loves her or Scientology more. So sad.
cminmd0041 this is not common only to scoentologists its how she is spinning it. Criticize anyones core beliefs and see if they still like you a week later.
I certainly think in our current aggrievement based culture, most people are too thin skinned and arrogant to accept criticism or even reality. I am Catholic and when stories came of priests abusing kids I didn't start attacking the Boston Globe as "Fake News". I forced myself to look to answers and found overwhelmingly the stories were true and I demanded my parish investigate itself and set up procedures for it to never happen again.
Look at the wording of your criticism of Remini- "how she is SPINNING it" Right there is an example of dismissive tone. You offer no evidence to contradict the wealth of evidence she has presented. You simply offer an absurd criticism that she is not telling you what you don't want to hear in a way that would make you want to hear it. I'm not sure how anyone could present a policy where you have to break off all contact with your twin brother in a way that doesn't sound terrible- because it is terrible.

Chrissi kind of like how leah will throw away friendships just to make money on a book? Diposing of people is a fack of life if you want to make it in entertainment industry. For instance, if the label says get rid of your bass player cuz he looks too geeky, you better dump and replace him if you want to sign. you think a hard school pretend street rapper would be caught dead hanging with a white and nerdy type? Hell no? If you go through drug recovery, you have to dispose of all your druggy friends. This is a fact of life that people want to spin into a scientology only event. Leah always talk about the church as "we" showing she still identifies as a scientologist. Accordimg to her show the church declared her am enemy by episode 2 or 3 a d a suprressed person too. This is more hegelian dialect. If she we're trully acting of her own accord we would never see her in movies or shows again and I'll would not be allowed to talk to her well at least that is how Leah presents things. So this is a comtradiction.
