Chris Martin is a champion performer. His band was booed off when he was young too. They really know how to manage big crowds and get everyone together to just enjoy the music and leave their baggage behind.

I am not upset by calling me a prick for booing, because you don’t understand a thing about it because you haven’t experienced it.
You hear manele everywhere here: on the streets, from cars at the stoplight, from apartmens, houses, TV…everywhere. I hate them for what they stand, they have horryble lyrics and a horrible cheese sound, although I am used to being forced to listen to then so it’s no problem.
BUT! AND THIS IS A BIG BUT!But paying half my salaray for the ticket to see the band I waited 22 years to see and hear live, being so happy, and THEN in the middle of the concert, that Babasha came on stage, and started singing “love with Cola taste”…
My first reaction was shock for 10 seconds, then I sat down in silence for about a minute, trying to understan WHY EVEN HERE WHY WHY! They have EVERYWHERE ELSE. Then I got up and BOooed also.
I understand anywhere else but EVEN HERE?!?!?
Why did they have to S**T on my taste even here when I was so happy? Do we S**T on everybody’s taste because of “inclusivity”?
In conclusion, people BOOOED because of a mix of sadness, frustration, oversaturation and sheer DESPERATION because their music taste means nothing.
I am impressed by the fact you paid half your salary for this experience. That must suck.

Thanks a lot for your comment. I'm French, don't know about manele at all but I've heard about this incident and didn't understand it. But I know nothing about your country, culture and people, and I thought there was a reason why everybody was booing. You mean manele is very popular in your country, but why is it so controversial ? I personaly don't like the sound of it here hhh, but I'm pretty sure Chris Martin is like me : he knew nothing about it. He just heard this guy in a street, liked him and asked him to come. He couldn't understand your reactions because it's just some music for him.
Mate you are out of your league, idk how i got to your video but please research before you speak on the internet. there are only 3% rroms (gipsy) in Romania, and not even 30 % of the country listed to manele. I won't deny that are a lot of groups that do, but there are far more that actually hate the "music" (even myself i can't call it music, and mind you i am comming from gipsy backrounds)
All and all, please research before uploading!
