I just realized this is exactly like the plot of Majora’s Mask. The last three episodes have been exactly like the three days shown in the game. The ground is shaking, blocks are flying, the music even changed to match what it was like in the game. The attention to detail is *chef’s kiss*

The shortest season I have ever seen of hermitcraft from Grian himself. Yet so sad it had to end so quickly I may have not watched a lot of this season but I will for next season.

I'm watching this months late, but man.. 2:17 is a really good visual representation of what it feels like go days with no sleep.
They say it takes 3 days to start hallucinating, and I have terrible insomnia to the point where I take a sedative medication that was prescribed just so I can sleep and the worst experience I had ever was the 3 day mark.
I played a horror game with a few friends, I got trapped in the maze after my friends died and then I ran around and got jump scared and I fell off my gaming chair and just laid on my floor and cried. I had a mental breakdown and genuinely didn't even know what was real anymore.
The physical and mental fatigue became too much and that night I finally passed out from exhaustion.
So this part of the video really speaks to me as someone who physically can't fall asleep without strong medication.
Although, I wished one night's sleep made everything better but it doesn't.
Damn man you have my respect 😔

The magnificent build, terraforming, lore, humor, joke, the boatem pole, hexagon shenanigans, your shenanigans, just, everything is very nice. i especially love the builds, they have those just amazing vibe. Take your break, as long as you enjoy the season, we will also enjoy it.

I really enjoyed this series! It was my first time watching any hermitcraft content and any of your content and I have to say, it was really well put together! I love the vibe you had all season long of being a chaotic prankster and making sure that it was never too much / always helping in the clean up. Wholesome fun! Also, I found this series and your channel through the videos you've made with Smallishbeans, so I really hope that he'll appear in the next season of hermitcraft! He'd fit right in.

That… that was the coolest thing ever. Despite knowing what was coming since I’d seen some animations before, I slightly teared up seeing their lovely world that they created together slowly get torn apart… and that animation at the end, WOW! I was not expecting that! This season was genuinely incredible, and I loved it so so much. It holds a special place in my heart. ❤

@@Gur7910 If Mumbo were to give him a high five, it would mean punching him, and as he is on half a heart, it would kill him. Doing that would defeat what Mumbo has been saying for the entire season, which is, "peace love and plants". Grian would never respawn, therefore he would be taking the life of something without 'replacing/ replanting it'. :)

Rewatched this again last night, it's such a good episode. I loved the moon big plot a lot and I remember being so impressed the first time I saw the animation at the end and everything. Now I'm looking ahead into S9, but S8 was so special.

plus, having a nether base in the nether and/or end is now possible, thanks to respawn anchors and lodestones
you could also have the hermits scattered at the start of the season, with the hermits who escaped the moon via end portal and/or space-travel winding up in the end, and those who escaped to the nether, or didn’t escape at all, starting in the nether
there could also be chunks of overworld sprinkled in the nether/end here-and-there, to provide Cobblestone, Sand, Iron, and Diamonds

@@plebhead_ S9 will have a new map as well as (probably) new hermit alliances so it will definitely feel like a fresh start for me
