- A naked man entered the France family's Wildwood, Florida home and threatened to kill everyone. They activated their ADT alarm causing the suspect to flee. It also sent a signal to ADT's monitoring center in Rochester, New York and the Sheriff's Department was dispatched. Deputies made the arrest and soon discovered that the perpetrator was suspected of murdering his grandmother. The France family believes without ADT and the quick response from law enforcement, they also could have been hurt. Yeah.The people who disliked maybe don't like peace in the world.
I didn't disliked, but maybe some of them think, like me, that ADT didn't "saved their lives" because the guy just freaked out, it would have been the same result with an unmonitored alarm system
@@arthurmartin1885 maybe but they didn’t have to wait on hold and give information to 911 she did all that by pressing one button and sounding the alarm to scare him

I like how you guys have so many false alarms, that you need to celebrate when you have a real emergency, no to mention the system wasn't even on.

it is cool how most are really false alarms yet they respond appropriately to the real ones. Alarm triggered, they are calling. No response, dispatch. The system not being Armed isn't ADT's fault. If you are in your house during the day constantly going in and out, you aren't going to have it armed until you go to sleep. The panel/keypad has the panic so that you can alert ADT even when it isn't armed.
If you can walk to the panel to press, you can also just dial 911, but ADT will auto dispatch when you don't answer the phone. $30+/month for a service you hope you never have to use but mega grateful when you do need it.
This.. is a good video..But the system being used its.. a brinks system but with an ADT Sticker over the logo..
in 2010 ADT took over brinks (I think Monitronics took their name ) 2018 Brinks re-entered the home security business through a trademark licensing deal, re-creating the "Brinks Home Security" brand
